Arrow's bad guys look generic, imo.

I hope they don't go the same route with the Rogues. They're not supposed to look ordinary. They are cheesy AND they're self-aware and that's really really awesome.

The stand out desgin there is Cold. He looks laughable in the old one, but the N52 version looks cool as hell.

I love how you're conveniently excluding the several villains they've done that wear actual costumes.

The costumes got 10x better in Season 2 (Deathstroke, Brother Blood, Black Canary, Deadshot). But still, the Suicide Squad members looked like ordinary people to me (they will/would look much much better with Deathstroke). Even when the characters wear costumes, most of them still look ordinary. The absolute best example is Count Vertigo.

And seriously, that's just my opinion, I'm not hating on the show or anything

Again, I just hope they don't go the same route with the Rogues, because they're completely different from Batman's villains or Green Arrow's villains. Their cheesiness is cool and I think they should play with it.

although the fake muscles were a bit overboard..I think they were trying to emulate Tim Burton bat suit..

They wernt trying to emulate Burton's batman with the suit. In fact they couldn't be anymore different. They just wanted the Comicbook look and muscularity brought to life. Not to mention JWS was actually pretty buff to begin with, it worked perfectly.

Both the batman 89 suit and Flashs actually nailed their respective looks in very different ways. Trust me the flash suit is absolutely nothing like the batman suit, just because there is fake muscularity doesn't mean one was trying to copy the other, that's just how comic books look.

I'm so ready for this show. To finally see a proper Flash TV show will be amazing. The guy has the most TV friendly universe of the big DC characters along with Batman yet never got his shot. It would have been awesome to see a Flash cartoon in the 90s along with Superman and Batman, but I'll "settle" for this show. My only concern is that Flash's rogues are naturally cartoony and would work better in a cartoon, so it will be interesting to see how they handle them live action without it looking silly.

I like Weather Wizard, Boomerang, Top, Trickster, and Golden Glider's Nu52 looks. I actually kind of like Heatwave's old costume. And I really detest the sleeveless Cold look. The parka looks way better. I think those choices would work best in live-action. The only one I'm not certain about is Mirror Master. I don't know which, if either, costume would translate best. But overall I hope this show has more colorful costume as opposed to Arrow's foes.

I'm interested in seeing how they will handle him, and if they will choose him or Mirror Master as Lisa's boyfriend

Agreed heatwave first costume could work is pretty simple

for mirror master they could go the doom route face full mask googles
