I actually really do hope whoever leaked this gets the **** punished out of them. The rest of you meth addicts who couldn't go a few months without your fix, I can't blame too much. But the dealer? Off with his ****ing head.

It's inconsiderate to the people making the show. These shows only survive on live ratings. Who knows how many little punks that watched the pirated version are just gonna think to themselves "Oh, well I already saw the pilot months ago. I don't need to watch it air. Plus, no commercials, hur hur hur..." and then the show performs like ****, and the network axes it and it will be because of all of you. And when that happens...

Though, I guess if this forces the creative team to cook up an added incentive to watch the premiere live, then maybe this wasn't for the worst.

I don't know. I've heard from TV journalist that they were playing really fast and loose with giving out screeners. I'm thinking a journalist or something just got irresponsible.

But I guess I can't rule it out.

This was pretty solid.

Barry, Detective West (how is he related to Wally?), and the Star Lab team were awesome.

Villain was weak, was he from the comics? I'm a Flash newbie...

I really hope we get more of Barry's CSI stuff, reminded me of Sherlock.

Iris was sort of weak, and some lines of dialogue were too much but overall that's normal for a CW show. Look on how much Arrow stepped away from those type of things by the midway point of s1 and hasn't really done anything since other that his sister and Laurel, once subplots ever 6 episodes...

Wheelchair guy was interesting, hope he is a big bad in the end.

I do seem to recall the pilot for Heroes leaking, though, and that didn't hurt the premiere numbers any, so maybe we aren't so doomed...

I hope they do more of the Barry analyzing a crime scene stuff in future episodes, that little part was one of my favorites of the episode. The cool little CGI stuff in there as hes coming up witg what hapoened was great.

Can't wait to see where this show and the CWverse goes. I hope they connect them to the films eventually. Id love to see this Ollie and this Barry joining up with Affleck, Cavill, and Gadot. (And whoever else the films introduce.)

I wonder if when the time for reintroudicng Green Lantern comes if they'll stick with Reynolds or re cast. It'd be fun to see him pop up in one of these shows or in another film.

I agree,the pilot has gotten plenty of good word of mouth so it won't fail in the same way that xmen origins did.

I wonder though...if the reputation of Dr. Wells and company, along with Star Labs itself, got tarnished after the explosion, how is it that they have any funds or money to continue with doing anything over there as we saw?

And on another note, another thing that I didn't like was how rushed Barry's awakening came off....I mean it really could have used a few more shots or a moment of Barry being knocked out in order to build up to him waking up

it's strange to me after the pilot leaked and got positive reviews that the next day CW puts out it's schedule and it features The Flash heavily

The show has already been ordered to a series. If tons of people watched the leaked pilot and liked it then it means they are more likely to tune in to watch the rest of the season.

In the long term it probably won't harm The Flash. Even if the pilot doesn't pull in huge ratings when it airs CW wouldn't just pull the show after the one episode.
