Looks like Central City will get hit with a Blackout in Episode 7, when Farooq, an electricity-wielding metahuman, seeks vengeance against Dr. Wells. Flash to the rescue? Mayyyybe not, seeing as Barry will be suffering a “powers” outage just when this new baddie arrives.

Hmmm, I wonder how Barry loses his powers for this episode? I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out, but at the same time I hope he doesn't lose his powers a lot during the run of this series. Like smallville, where Clark would lose his powers or whine about having them.

THE FLASH Showrunners Want To Eventually Add Wally West

At The Flash's PaleyFest panel last night, showrunners on The CW's freshman superhero drama revealed to the audience that they eventually hope to bring in another Flash, Wally West. And he'll be African-American, just like in the New 52.

As long as his actual origin is better than it has been in the New 52, then I'm fine with him being African America. Heck I expected it given that Iris and Detective West are both African American.

Yeah, that second panel the artist pulled a Liefeld and made the chest and back visible at the same time. Though at least it's not as extreme an extent as Liefeld.

Well Wally isn't Iris's and Barry's son so it's not exactly hard to explain, people can have different skin colors and still be related.

I say spin Wally, Roy, and Thea off into a Young Justice series in 2015 or 2016

And it's entirely possible for nephews and aunts/uncles to have different skin colors, it's not exactly unheard of.

Just because Barry Allen is getting his own show doesn't mean that Barry/Felicity shippers from "Arrow" should lose hope.

During the PALEYFEST Fall TV Preview panel discussion co-executive producer of "The Flash" Greg Berlanti promises that Barry's complicated romantic situation will be addressed. "Felicity is going to appear in Episode 4 of 'Flash.' It was really important to us to address that right away because we saw the impact that Grant had [in Season 1 of 'Arrow']."

Felicity's appearance will of course cause ripples as Barry grapples with feelings for his best friend and confidant Iris West. Not to mention back in "Arrow"-verse Felicity will be getting closer to Oliver -- so it's more of a cross-over love square. However, don't expect any cat fights between Felicity and Iris.

"Iris and Felicity get along. At the end of the day [Iris] wants whatever makes Barry happy," actress Candice Patton says at the panel. "So Iris looks at Felicty like 'Dude, how could you not?' Iris genuinely wants the best for Barry so she's trying to set him up. She doesn't even realize that he could want [Iris]."

But how could he not fall for Iris? "That's what makes it so heartbreaking because you see the dailies and the way Grant [Gustin] is looking at Candace -- and you know its her [Barry] wants," chimes in show runner Andrew Kreisberg. "When you meet Iris you can kind of see how Barry could not be totally into Felicity."

We can at least get some form of the Titans in the CWverse. I'm confident that'll happen. Maybe the Titans will have as big a role on Arrow or Flash as the Suicide Squad do on Arrow.



We're going to get a live action Teen Titans eventually, it's one of DC's most successful properties, and it's totally ripe for live action. It's got a massive fanbase already, some form of the Teen Titans has been on tv pretty consistently since 2003.

I wouldn't mind this happening tbh. Especially since they lamely cancelled the young justice cartoon awhile back. Who would Thea be though?
