I just realized something, since theres no new ep this Tuesday, that puts its episodes out of sync with Arrow....which means the episode 8 crossover from each show won't be a two night event like I was hoping :(

I think it's completely unrealistic to assume that Wells is Barry from the future, for the simple fact that Barry would recognize himself if he was only 20 years older. Are we saying that none of us would see our older selves and NOT know it was us?

I don't generally assume people with a resemblance to myself are actually me from another timeline/dimension, but that's just me. That said, I don't buy into the future Barry theory at all. It just doesn't add up to me.

You're talking about a television show where a man was struck by lightning and can now run faster than the speed of sound... I'm not saying you don't have a point... All I'm saying is the argument for "realism" has a time and a place... Neither of which being here or now.

Unless we have a week before then where Arrow takes a break while the Flash catches up.

Man why couldn't elections take place on Thursday nights? Lol I wanted to see a new flash ep tonight

So Arrow is on this week but not the Flash?

Not only will it be out of sync, but won't Arrow, which seems to be slightly chronologically after Flash, will be happening before events in that show.

Imagine if that happened last week: Felicity returns to Starling City and asks if she missed anything, and then goes off to Central City to visit Barry in the next Flash episode.

I think the catch-up will happen on November 26, the night before Thanksgiving. Looking at http://www.thefutoncritic.com, while no details are available for either The Flash or Arrow that week, it appears The Flash will be a new episode and Arrow a rerun.

Is that before the Flash/Arrow crossover?

Is that before the Flash/Arrow crossover?

Just before. The crossover is at episode 8 of both shows. Episode 7 or Arrow airs on the 18th and it looks like episode 7 of the Flash will air on the 25th.

Repeat?:argh:

That feeling you get, when you realize tonight is a repeat episode.

As much as I enjoy watching "Arrow", I can't deny that I find myself liking "The Flash" even more.

Out of all of the comic book shows that we currently have on air, "The Flash" is the one that I look most forward to watching every week.

And on another note, is there any villain from "Arrow" that you wish you could see Barry encounter in the future?

Yep, I was only recently saying the same thing. It probably doesn't help that Arrow feels like it's fallen back a step in awesome sauce quality these past few episodes (season?).

Hey, do you guys think we'll ever see Jay Garrick on Flash? Our first foray into the Multiverse perhaps?

Depending on how successful the first season of Flash is, and people seem to love it right now, the eventual trajectory has to include time travel and I wouldn't rule out a meeting of a couple of the Flashes. It would be sick to see Garrick in Barry's timeline or vice versa.

If the writing stays as good as it's been in this short space of time I can see this keeping up with the amount of seasons Arrow is getting.

Cyrus Gold back as a scarred, pale, overdosed, unstoppable, unkillable, and incurable Solomon Grundy. Partially because I want to see them reopen the Mirakuru storyline (Deathstroke should get some version of his powers back) and partially because I want to see Flash get creative in taking down an opponent who can take any hit and keep moving.

SYNOPSIS for Episode 7: "Power"

THE FLASH GETS A VISIT FROM DC CHARACTERS FAROOQ AND THE CLOCK KING —The Flash (Barry Allen) goes up against Farooq aka Blackout (guest star Michael Reventar), ametahuman who can harness electricity. During their battle, Farooq zaps The Flash and siphons allhis electricity, leaving The Flash without his speed. Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (DaniellePanabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) work to reverse the effects on Barry, but their efforts aredisrupted when Farooq comes banging on S.T.A.R. Labs doors in search of Wells, who he blamesfor his accident. Without Barry’s powers to protect them, the group must figure out a way to savethemselves from the metahuman. Meanwhile, Tockman (guest star Robert Knepper) manages acoup inside the Central City police department and takes several people hostage, including Joe(Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton). While Iris is sure The Flash will save them, Eddie(Rick Cosnett) has a trick up his sleeve. Larry Shaw directed the episode written by AlisonSchapker & Grainne Godfree.

I find it funny how the parenthesis after each character's name show the actors name, except for the Flash, where the parenthesis say Barry Allen instead of Grant Gustin.
