If Well's is a comic book character (and despite DigificWriter's delusional outlook, producers/writers CAN lie if it suits them, any one of us should be well aware of that, considering it happens all the time) then my money is firmly on Zoom.

Maybe Wells will be their own version of Zoom, different enough, but respecting the essence of the character, which so far is the case.

On Ezra Miller, another Barry is not a problem at all, there are multiple Earths in the DCU comics, they could do Crisis movies down the line if they want to. What matters is that Ezra is a great actor, all they need is a great director and script to take care of the rest.

If you want to compare them (don't see how you really can at this stage but whatever) then I guess you could easily create a thread that focuses solely on that in either the DC Films section or this one. But this thread for the most part shouldn't be hijacked to talk about the movie guy when it's about discussing and speculating about the TV series.

Most likely mid-season finale. The Zoom set pics surfaced soon after set pics for the Arrow/Flash crossover, which takes place in episode 8. Episode 9 should be the mid-season finale.

Yeah I never thought I'd ever see Mist in any live action DC adaptation. That should be fun.

They would also be fine in a discussion about The Flash movie in a DC Comics Film section since Ezra Miller is in a movie called The Flash. Especially since there is more to talk about regarding the TV show in this thread than there is the movie at this point in time anyway.

Or perhaps the Hype mods might want to bite the bullet and give The Flash his own section where a Flash World forum could exist to truly discuss all things Flash related. I guess this is exactly why some people were saying "I feel sorry for Grant Gustin" yesterday. It seems like even the sections dedicated to his Flash interpretation will have a lot of discussions about another unrelated Flash interpretation.

The truth is not every poster on this site wants to always discuss superhero movies ad nauseum especially when we're actively posting in a superhero TV show forum.

Well Gustin said on Twitter he was working on Ep9 when Ep2 was airing, so Zoom will probably be in either episodes 8 or 9 depeding on what was filming when, so it's not going to be that long. Depends on possible breaks of course...

Assuming that they don't take any breaks until the new year I could see Zoom appearing sometime in December right before a mid season break till the spring time.

I think we'll get some really good exposition on the character to leave the audience with a good idea of what the threat is before any eventual mid season cliffhanger.

Why not just avoid joining in on those discussions? There are multiple discussions going on in this thread right now and nobody else seems to be bothered, you could just join the discussion relating to Reverse-Flash showing up, ignore the one about Grant and Ezra, and not start another discussion about whether or not we should be talking about Grant and Ezra.
