It's not like The Flash comic book never dealt with relationships, dating and love triangles. Matter of fact that's one of the things that always made the series stand out.

The Flash: Meet Ronnie Raymond in 'Things You Can't Outrun'

Of course, but the CW usually goes overboard with the angst just to pander to a minority, they did the same crap with Smallville and it had a very negative effect on the show. These shows would be so much better on HBO or other similar channels, but we'll see how they handle it.

All I can say is I feel like I've waited for this day for centuries sounds familiar..

Like the clip, however in episode 1 didn't they say it worked fine for 45 minutes before all hell broke loose?

If it were on HBO and had the same writers and producers it would still happen. Only difference is there would be sex scenes.

Yeah, the cw does tend to draw out love triangles on their shows a lot. Well, at least the ones I've seen. Can't speak for all of them. It's already been only two episodes and I'm already tired of the pining Barry's doing and the love triangle stuff.

Not sure why everyone talks about the CW like it's the only place where shows have love triangles , love drama, or whatever. Almost all shows have this ****.

Except for the fact I specifically said they draw out their love triangles to the point of annoyance, which was what I was talking about anyway. And that I said it's true for the cw shows I watch, but that I'm not sure if all of them play out that way?

Seeing on Twitter that this has gotten a full season.

Too many... :(

If they keep the ambition level high and do THE definitive Reverse Flash epic, peppered with the Rogues storyline, they'll be just fine. I'm more concerned about how they can possibly up the ante for Season 2. Well, Grodd and the associated far-out sci-fi he opens up ups the ante similar to Slade. I'm more concerned about how they can up the ante for Season 3... which kinda goes to show how premature my worries are.

I'm not the only one who sees the irony between these pictures and what Felicity said to Oliver about wanting so much more in life than being his techie sidekick, am I?
