It's not like The Flash comic book never dealt with relationships, dating and love triangles. Matter of fact that's one of the things that always made the series stand out.

Comics in general deal with (at least historically have dealt with) those kinds of things a good bit.

How the Heck is it that we're only 3 episodes in and I'm head over heels in love with this show? Seriously, this is the kind of superhero series I've always wanted. They're not pussyfooting around anything, they're just straight going for it and I love that. DC is just nailing it with their live action properties right now, can't wait for Constantine Friday.

a few nice little easter eggs there, that even as a non comic reader, but doing a little prior research picked up.

I noticed, "Flash Museum" and Caitlin mentioning her and Ronnie were like "Fire and Ice" which references their future alter egos. Saw a "52" in the chamber place too.

probably missed some others.

Not my favorite episode of the season, but still a solid one. Loved the moments with both Joe and Barry with Barry's dad.

I wonder what the budget for this series is like, especially when compared to the CW's current/previous shows.

So far, we've gotten three episodes with some great production value. One can only imagine on how much more magic the creators could insert into the series if they had a budget like Agents of SHIELD.

From the looks of things, it seems like the show has a bigger budget than SV did (at least from Season 8 till 10).

I'm hoping that since they're getting 23 episodes from this series, that the production value doesn't go down due to lack of a proper budget.

I think I like this show more then I like Arrow. There doing an awesome job. Okay any one else think that Ronny will come back as Solomon Grundy. I don't know why I keep getting this feeling that is what will happen.

Also Amanda Pays who played Dr. Christina (Tina) McGee will appear in later as Dr. Tina McGee. I think that is so awesome; another node to the original Flash series.

I love this show.

Nope, Ronnie is going to return as the hero Firestorm, Cyrus Gold (Grundy's real name) appeared on arrow's two part mid-season finale last season. So if Grundy appears it'll be Cyrus coming back.
