Joe specifically asked Cisco to run against Dr. Wells. Unless he was hip to their little investigation switched out his sample. That is possible but why do it, if it is never shown.



It was more of an assumption because Cisco said it was missing.



How did Wells fake the blood that he had no idea was there?

Wells wasn't hurt, it is not his blood.

There two samples taken, one was unidentifiable the other was adult Barry.

No, it would be terrible, Barry is not a murderer, mastermind manipulator.

Wells is from the future, that's why he has the futuristic tech and knowledge from his time. Obviously, he took the necessary precautions to hide some personal information, including his blood type.

I dont think its a straight up misdirect. We did see [BLACKOUT]Wells go super-speed in the Sound and the Fury[/BLACKOUT] and the cast/crew did confirm that Wells is a Reverse Flash but not necessarily THE Reverse Flash.

There was an article where Tom said he is the only RF http://www.ew.com/article/2015/01/11/flash-harrison-reverse-flash-eddie but actors have deliberately lied to preserve speculation, so who knows? I personally hope there is more than one RF, it would make more sense IMO.

I think Wells is past Barry. I think we're going to learn that Barry has Benjaminbutton Syndrome, and actually gets younger as he gets older. The scene where his mother was murdered actually took place in the future and he just doesn't realize it. Wells is what Barry really looked like at age 12.

In the van, talking about Martin Stein and Clarissa:

So here's my theory:

Wells is actually trying to go back to his wife, Tess Morgan. He created The Flash to try and save her via time travel.

Or something like that, lol But I think it definitely involves Tess Morgan.

I think Wells needs Barry's speed force to go back in time to save his wife, that's why he wants him to get faster. The Reverse Flash that beat him up and fought Barry could be himself from the future since he knew what was going to happen that day.

Lol yea it is. I love this show! Even though we know Wells is a/the RF there is still so much mystery around him and a ton of possibilities

Why would I ever think that someone who I know goes by a completely different name and is an established figure in many circles is a future version of me?

I don't think that Wells is Barry, but you can't fault the latter for not recognizing the former if he is.

It's really a stupid theory after all. People don't change that much, no matter what happens to them. A kindly, self-sacrificing person like Barry could never become a self serving cold blooded murderer like Wells is portrayed.

I don't think Wells is Barry for many reasons but the biggest hole in the "Wells is future Barry" theory is the obvious fact that 14 years ago Wells would've looked very close to if not identical to how Barry looks in the present. Be it in old pictures or any other type of public records. Since he would've been around the same age Barry is now or a just a couple of years older.
