DC isn't rebooting, they're just dropping the New 52 name from their books, while adding 24-25 new comics. Most of the older stories within the New 52 series will be ongoing.

Which makes sense, because after the New 52 reboot and integration (which was an overall success), there's no need to keep that New 52 designation on the titles forever. Especially because new title additions and existing title cancellations will make it nearly impossible to always keep the number of titles at 52 as time goes on.

Yeah, it makes sense, I just wish they never rebooted with that name, and instead just started with #1.

Or not rebooted, at all. But whatever....

Marvel's soft reboot was a pretty good idea. But I like DC's "story trumps continuity" thing.

It's been three years, the "New" 52 isn't so new anymore.

I was watching Richard Dean Anderson on youtube during his Phoenix Comicon appearance last year. He named The Flash as his favorite comic book character when he was a kid. Someone in the crowd suggested he could play a villain in the TV series,to which he replied "I'd love to."

Make it happen,CW! Make it happen!!! :argh::argh::argh:

I figured they could make Richard Dean Anderson into some shady Military/Government agent like Clancy Brown. Maybe a scientist with ties to Mercury Labs.

Does anyone else fear that the quality of this show might suffer once Greg starts focusing on his "Supergirl" series?

I mean I think that one of the reasons why "Arrow" has been suffering this season is because the producers placed their priority in making sure that "The Flash" took off as a series.

Yeah, it's a worry for me. Another reason I don't want an Atom show.

Well, I don't think Geoff Johns will let that happen to Flash, Arrow has had a couple strange writing choices , but is still a good show.

Well, I think the quality will drop anyway after the Harrison Wells/RF arc is done, the other villains are not as powerful nor interesting. How much? That's the question, but we'll see.

I don't think most people care about an Atom show, but a Brave and the Bold series could be more interesting, they could pair the Atom and Firestorm with guest stars (Vixen, Blue Beetle, etc.) to fight allied supervillains, a miniseries format (8-10 episodes) would be perfect IMO and leave the producers with enough time for the other series.

That's an interesting idea. Especially since I think the reason that we are not hearing more about a Firestorm spinoff is that Robbie Amell has a movie coming out.

So .... about that blood sample ....

No match with Wells?!?!

I buy it on the basis that I believe [BLACKOUT]There is a second Reverse Flash out there, one that did kill Barry's mother. [/BLACKOUT]

I think the [blackout]other blood sample is Eddie's.[/blackout]

I don't want to toot my horn but Boo-yah. That stinger scene at the mid-season finale was a misdirect.

I was also pleasantly surprised with Amell's acting this episode. I actually bought that there was an old stuffy guy in his head. haha

I dont think its a straight up misdirect. We did see [BLACKOUT]Wells go super-speed in the Sound and the Fury[/BLACKOUT] and the cast/crew did confirm that Wells is a Reverse Flash but not necessarily THE Reverse Flash.

[BLACKOUT]Didn't they also say that there was only one Reverse Flash?[/BLACKOUT]
