That idea brought back some bad Smallville memories,
If Barry reveals his ID to Iris I would not want them to undo it like Smallville did with Lana, I want the show to continually move forward rather than going backward.
Hello,
I'm a few weeks behind on The Flash and Arrow but I've noticed that Arrow is a episode ahead of The Flash. Also, The Flash will have it's season finale a week after Arrow's.
I was wondering if anybody knows should I stick with matching the episodes (1x14/3x14, 1x15,3x15, etc.) or if it matters?
It isn't a big deal but I enjoy watching them in the correct order and I read that Felicity and Ray Palmer will appear in an upcoming episode of The Flash so I was wondering if anybody knows (without revealing spoliers) if this s affected by the The Flash being an episode behind.
Cheers
Rather than have Barryreveal his identity and cause Iris' death, I'd prefer she die as a result of his not telling her, at which point he makes the choice to reveal himself.
Watch them as they air. They accounted for this.![]()
So would you guys say that Season 1 is on par, if not shaping out to be potentially better than Arrow's acclaimed Season 2?

Definitely on Par. I've seen a lot of complaining about soap opera elements, but does anyone remember how much time was spent on soap opera in S2?So would you guys say that Season 1 is on par, if not shaping out to be potentially better than Arrow's acclaimed Season 2?

I'd actually argue they're on track to be about on par right now, but as the other guy said, they're not that easy to compare. I think arrow having a previous season in which to establish major relationships for Season 2 gives some of it's moments bigger impact (especially Ollie vs Slade or Moira just as a character the audience identifies with in spite of her flaws), and I think Arrow had some better mini arcs leading up to it's seasonal plot's emergence, especially the initial Canary arc and the Amazo vs Island crew in the second half.
On the other hand, I think Flash has fewer evident weaknesses, and the strengths of the Rogues are quickly matching the best of the suicide Squad episodes. People complain about Iris, but since she's at worst in the same developmental stage as Laurel in Season One of Arrow, and at best consistently portrayed as a competent action survivor, nobody's raising as much hell as they did with Laurel in Season Two. And let's be honest, all the Rogues seen thus far seem to be shaping up into fun and challenging nemeses for our hero, while clearly being more comic-booky and still being believably dangerous.
