Barry's time traveling comes back to haunt him in next week's episode of "The Flash," when a ghostly time wraith follows him from the present to the past, threatening all reality.

After the shocking revelation that Zoom is Jay Garrick, Barry is more determined than ever to get back to Earth-2 to stop Zoom forever. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne, to teach him how to run faster. However, things don't go as planned and Barry is stunned to face a familiar foe Hartley Rathaway, as well as an old friend Eddie Thawne, Iris makes peace with her past in order to embrace her future.

So in a totally unscientific idea but what I think would be a fun crossover idea in Season 3/Season 5 of Arrow, after this season when the Earth-2 story is done with and the velocity 9 is no longer needed what if Count Vertigo stole the drug and mixed it with his vertigo drug and after taking it it gave him his traditional powers from the comics but because of the limited supply of V9 that's all he has.

Last season the crossover was used to set up Legends of Tomorrow but that's not needed this year so we should have a similar version where both episodes need to be watched instead of two separate stories. I think Count Vertigo's powers would definitely be a threat to both the Flash and Green Arrow enough that they would need to work together. I also think it would make the crossovers seem less filler and would give a nice over arching story and give them some meaning rather than doing it for the sake of it. If we don't get a proper Count Vertigo adaption I would be severely disappointed because of how few rogues Green Arrow has and if they can't be adapted to their fullest potential that's poor treatment by CW.

I know the science of it would be blurred but they could easily make something up. Say that the V9 speeding up atoms but the Vertigo focuses it on ones brain but needs to release it so does it in a way Count Vertigo is known for.

It would also help create a story that crosses from one season to another. Neither a Flash not Arrow have really done that. I know we've had it where someone dies and that has impacted how the hero acts but there's been no real story that crosses two series. Maybe the Deathstroke story. In Arrow we see Darhk after he was mentioned in Season 3 but Ra's pointed out Darhk was an enemy of the LoA but we haven't even seen that yet only Darhk hating on Star City.

Finally got the first season on BD and man, I had forgotten how good the pilot episode was. Honestly if that pilot was an origin movie it would be up there with the best of them.

Agreed, I don't think the 2nd season has quite hit the heights of season 1 yet, but in all honesty season 1 is extremely hard to top. The storyline, the villain, the characters, everything was just so damn good in S1.

I think season 2 is hitting it's stride now. The first two episodes were awesome then a bit of a lull. The midseason finale was great and the episodes after has been a fun ride.

Slowly but surely it is yeah. Since it came back from the mid season break things have ramped up. Credit to them though I didn't think they top RF, but Zoom is an amazing villain.

To be fair, most of the season has been a filler. I feel like every episode that hasn't involved Zoom has been an episode where they're just killing time. They, alone with Arrow in the first have, did more to set up Legends than they have to push their own A-plot forward, during the first 8 episodes.

I think we are talking about different breaks. The 2nd half of the season only started here in the UK. It was off between them and Xmas.

Well I have already been spoiled on some stuff from other web sites. But mainly I came here because I had begun re-watching season 1 and was commenting how good it was.
