I thought Jesse L. Martin has had some great performances in the show in some of the more emotional scenes. He has always stood out as an actor who is heads and shoulders above the rest of the regulars (except Tom Cavanaugh).

However, I didn't find the use of Matt Letscher all that interesting. Maybe it's because he paled compared to Cavanaugh. But I look forward to more of him in the future (uh, the show's future, not the timeline's future, although I suppose both could work).

Two things:

Gustin can hang. He's got skills.

The Cavanaugh/Letscher comparison is unfair. Cavanaugh had 20 some odd weeks to inhabit Eobard's head space. Letscher got two shots that were a year apart from each other. Of course one is going to be "better" than the other.

Imo Letscher has not been in the show nearly enough to be used as an example of 'great acting'. However, I find most of the main cast good to great so I'm very happy.

I'm not disputing that. He's done a very good job with the lead role.

I'm not saying it's the actor's fault. I just didn't like what little we've seen so far. But I agree the emphasis is on "little," so it's subject to change.

I don't think Letscher could act like Cavanagh's Thawne anyway first of all, because he isn't Cavanagh. And second, because Letscher was playing Thawne at a different point in time both times he appeared.

When we saw him in the flashback in Season 1, this was before he assumed the identity of Harrison Wells. When masquerading as Wells, he had to be more subtle and nuanced, and plotting his every move carefully so as not to give himself away. He couldn't be as overt a villain, so there was no sense of him being this quietly scheming enemy.

And in Season 2, he's also from an earlier point in time.

The Cavanagh version of Thawne is one who has had to live under the assumed identity of Wells for some time and pretend to be someone else, and in doing so, has partly become someone else. He has become... something else.

Matt Letscher hasn't even been on the show that much, I don't know why you're throwing in his name with the rest of them, it's not like he's carrying the show over his shoulders.

Jesse L Martin? Come on...

Grant and Jesse are the lodestones of this show. They elevate any scene most of the time and add gravitas to some often cliche ridden writing. Tom C. is of course also great. As for the others... Sorry, I just think that the writing and acting with these characters is under cooked when it's not just outright bad.

Hey so just so you guys know if you dont have the flash season 1 they have it for 14.99 right now and it also has a $8 thing for going to see batman vs superman. So really that is like 6.99 with having the movie thing on it. Really low price if you want to get it on bluray.

Are there any good extras on the Blu Ray? If not, I'll just stick to Netflix.

Gag real, the trickster returns thing, deleted scenes, creating the blur-VFX of the flash and a few other things to.

Is that real or fan made?

Good.... Great poster :)

Have they just grabbed a photo of a stadium with lots of people in it from either the internet or stock photography, or did they shoot a stadium especially for this and then digitally add the crowd of people?

Better question is who cares? Why does that matter? It's just a poster made to pay homage to the comic cover. Why does all that matter honestly haha.

It's real and official

At the moment, the closest that Grant will get towards achieving his dream of having working alongside a hero that bears the "S" insignia on their chest.

Alternatively, what about working alongside a fellow lightning-bolt insignia-ed superhero? Give us Shazam! I mean... Captain Marvel. No wait, I mean Shazam. :D

Great poster - I've always loved that cover and all the variations of it that have followed since. Bit of inspired genius there also - replacing the starting pistol guy with Diggle holding his gun.

Absolutely love what they are doing with these homage pics - this one and the Flash of Two Worlds one are awesome. Hope the trend continues.

That's not Diggle. It's Hank Henshaw. Diggle wouldn't suddenly show up in the poster, of all people.

Yup, just noticed my error now that ive got home from work and seen it on my PC - saw it before on a very small phone screen. Hoped to edit my post before anyone noticed but alas.......:O

Yeah it looks cool what they're doing with posters. Flash of Two Worlds was a great moment.
