The Flash The Flash General Discussion and Speculation Thread - Part 7

I just had an epiphany !!! ...

nº 1 - who is zoom !?
my theory : Jay and zoom are one and the same ... kinda

Jay grows up and becomes the flash;
finds out he is sick, travels back in time to try so solve the problem as a child;
accidentaly changes his whole life story;
now he grows up and become zoom.

conclusion : Jay and zoom are the same person, from different timelines

but why is zoom named "hunter zolomon" !?

simple : Jay has telling the truth about the hunter in the park (addopted by the zolomons)
maybe the same thing happened to Jay on earth-2 after his history has changed ...

nº 2 - who is the prisioner in the mask !?
jay/zoom/hunter's father !!!

jay mentioned that his helmet belonged to his father, who fought in the "war of the americas" ... and the prisioner WAS using war codes to communicate ...

BUT ... if its not someone we know, WHY is it really so surprising !?
because it IS someone we know ... HENRY ALLEN !!!

I have been making some research on the 1990 flash show by curiosity ... and I found out that in that show, nora is not the person who dies ... its barry's brother ... JAY allen

BOOM *drops the mic*

I hope your second theory is at least somewhat true. At this point, if Henry is involved in any way, I will be a happy camper.

Why no Flash this week, but we've still got to put up with Arrow? I think most people would want it the other way round if given a choice: Flash but no Arrow.

I think they are saving Flash episodes to lead into that Containment show sadly enogh.

What containment show?
New CW show.

I'm thinking there may be a chance that this coming episode contains spoilers for Arrow 4-18 and they didn't want it spoiling it before the episode aired.

Because the way the CW sets up their shows, they need to stretch them as far out until May as possible, so when the writers write the stories, they need to do so in a way to accommodate this. They try to break it down into several arcs, so that there are mini cliffhangers to keep people hooked into coming back, hence why there is always some shocking development at the end of the last episode before a break.

The way it worked out this time around was that Arrow needed an extra week to get there. But they will work out somehow (I believe Flash returns a week before Arrow) since their finales will air during the same week.

That would be one way to have her show up. I really want them to introduce Cadmus into Flash (though probably off limits due to Supergirl taking them on) and introduce aliens through them.

Well if they bring an E1 version of Supergirl. Here is 2 ways to deal with Superman. Both would not make comic fans happy...

-Superman's ship was the one who got caught in the phantom zone and won't appear yet.

-Supergirl arrived as the same time as Supes....just a few years later. So while Supergirl is her normal age (like on "Supergirl"). Supes is only 12 and living on the Kent farm.

yeah I don't think it'll be power girl since we know that it's kara they are pushing for and power girl is some esle kare star that's related to superman and her own person . and taller and older ETC . any ways .

I'd love to see power girl though and it'll allow for aliens in the flarrow verse.

I have more then one cousin as do many others. as long as they don't have weird history of their family dropping like fly's. why can't super man have more then one cousin?

oh Got some photo's and looks who's in danger. I also put it in spoiler tags too

Could be. Plus, remember Barry said he couldn't make it to the funeral because he was dealing with Zoom?

Well, I thought they might have been saving PowerGirl in case they got Laura Vandervoot.
However, because of Indigo on Supergirl, I guess not. It's still a good idea.

Power Girl or Galatea, make it happen Kriesberg! And keep her around for major crossover events.

If they do that, it'll have infinitely more on an impact on the show than the death in Arrow will have on that show. Killing that character would be the wrong move IMHO

It's too soon for that death.

But then again ..... It follows the pattern of Arrow

Season 1, kill off the third wheel Boyfriend.

Season 2, kill of a parent.

What if they introduced an 18-20yr old Clark Kent? He has not gotten the suit and is travelling the world (like in the comics & MOS). He can appear every so often. I know he is supposedly not allowed in the tv-verse. Which makes no sense.

It would be interesting. If we assume that Bruce Wayne in the Flarrowverse is the same age as Talia al Ghul, then he was active as Batman in the 80s and 90s, and he'd be ~65 years old now. Having him as an old man but Clark Kent barely out of his teens...that'd be a twist. But generally, yeah, these characters aren't supposed to be used in the CWverse, so I don't see them appearing regardless of age.
