Lencho01 thanks for these Flash facts. It's one of the best parts of reading this board for me! Was anxiously waiting for this one in particular.
 
*cough* I don't think Cisco actually needs vibration powers to be a super hero. If he got it into his mind, he could *build* himself superpowers. What he needs is motivation and training.

Kevin Smith To Direct An Episode of The Flash.

The CW announced today at the Television Critics Association that Clerks filmmaker Kevin Smith will direct an upcoming episode of The Flash.

Smith has written a number of comics and a script for Superman Lives back in the '90s, but has always shied away from directing a comic book property.

The episode Smith is set to direct will air in May, close to the season finale of The Flash. No episode number or airdate was revealed at TCA.

I know I can't be the only one who hopes to see a robot spider in the episode...!

While Smith hasn't written The Flash that I can recall, it's worth mentioning that he wrote a critically-acclaimed run on Green Arrow, the other of The CW's big DC superheroes.

Smith, who is prolific on social media, hasn't yet commented on the release of the information.

AWESOME! I can't wait to see that episode, he really liked the Season one finale. so i'm curious to see his contribution to the series. He talks about it a lot on his podcast.

the actress had another show come that was made available to her and the writers didn't have much for her besides being a temporary love interest. with in the show the weather wizard was put back in jail and she wanted to finish up CSI school and she has a sister to take care ofas well . they said she would have stayed for barry though and him telling her the truth.

the odd thing was how Joe kept trying to weirdly lie with barry making the mistake of writing his files like he was there during event flash took down villains she was present for. and there was the unresolved mess with earth 2 wells at star Labs where joe weirdly got mad at her for his mistake of not letting her know what's going on with the breachers (not barry being flash). Especially with that due process talk at the start of the season from him. which is why she said he's a terrible lier.


right now this also leave the task even more under developed then it was before . there aren't may task force's that are just 2 people unless they are underfunded ones and being set up to fail on some level. sadly that part wasn't fully flesh out or fully cooked story wise, pretty much like the meta human wing in iron heights and it's under use yet they over yapped it with Joe's lip service.

There a lot that was left under developed plot wise and I don't think it was fully the set up of L.O.T . It's more that they didn't really flesh alot out epesct to have things happen earlier are taking more time then they should in where they want the plots to be with the meta human task force to be among other things . it's still salvageable though. but this romance with patty was temporary in their minds.

but we'll have to see what the writing team will do with the dangling plots they have. but the plot of the task force is in the wind.


The most we know that most of the star labs team will head to earth 2 And Jay will being earth one having a battle with a villain there still while Barry and others are in earth 2.

I think it was the actress. It felt too rushed and unexpected. They wrote her off, but didn't kill her off, so I can tell there's hope that she'll return at some point.

That's the impression I got, we'll probably see some guest appearances down the road occasionally, if Shantel's other jobs don't pan out I wouldn't be surprised to see her return and work in the lab with Barry eventually.

I never expected her to last past the season. I imagined her as this year's Eddie, possibly dying at the end of the season. I'm glad she didn't but I imagine that if she ever comes back, it might be to help Barry on a case once or twice. But I don't expect them to see each other much after this because I'm expecting to finally see Barry hook up with Iris by season's end.
 
Yeah, the Flash team is too large to include her and they were running out of things to do without her knowing. I figured she'd either die or be written out in some way. This is how to do that.
 
It's kinda like Barry's dad. Once he was freed in the premiere,I wasn't really expecting him to stick around. But in that case too, I think the departure was rushed. I would have liked to see him try to stick around, only to realize that he needed to leave, as opposed to him making that decision not even 5 minutes after being a free man.

hmmm her place would have been with the task force not as part of the star labs team which is barry's secret thing.

but that task force the city made was barely developed seeing she was one of the first inducted into it, she'd have been one of the leaders since joe was heading it. . since she's one of the primary detectives next too Joe also. she's a cop that was her place and putting the meta criminals in the meta wing and the tech villains in the tech wing of iron height.


she doesn't really have to be apart of the star labs team inner circle. she would be what captain lance was at the start of arrow befor he became captain since she was a detective barry would drop off the crooks she'd take them. she'd just take them to jail with the rest of the task force cops after the flash did his thing. it's just Joe among the police force that in the inner circle of star labs. that's what will set the two apart.

there was room .

but anyway yeah she'll be back since they left it open.

Something just occurred to me. Linda is MIA, but now we've a Wally that's about 6 years younger. Age doesn't really matter, but I guess in your 20's is still does. Wally better have a lot of game of he's going to be pulling a mid 20 something professional. Maybe Linda likes that race life? Who knows. Anyways, just a random thought.
 
Cool poster. I like how he's holding the lightning, but his chest symbol looks red there.
