Joey King also played Young Talia in The Dark Knight Rises.

Alot of the exciting casting news these past 2-3 weeks.

Are you honestly pointing out the difference in quality between a CW show and an HBO show? Every episode has double the budget, and the fight scene in one recent episode took 25 days to film. Compared to the like 3-4 days an entire episode of Flash gets.

C'mon man. Apples and Oranges.

So what? Both are TV shows, both designed to entertain. The smaller budget and shorter shooting time are definitely evident in The Flash's quality, though.

Did anyone notice how Henry Allen got out of prison on the first episode and Jay Garrick got let out of his prison glass box thing which is Henrys doppelganger on the last episode
Of season 2.

Rumors swirling that Grant is voicing the Flash in Injustice 2

I just realized how odd it is that both the new TV and movie versions of Barry Allen have gone in a distinctly Peter Parker-like direction with the character, which was not precisely what he was like in the comics. I'm aware that the old Silver Age Barry wasn't all that complex, but it's funny that they both changed him in basically the same way.

Of course it is. One is a network show on the CW. The other is a premium cable station's flagship show.

If I filmed a home made guardians of the galaxy movie with my iphone it's probably not going to be as good as Guardians 2, even though both are movies, and designed to entertain.

Flash is doing very well for what it is, is the point. It's a small budget show on a no budget network, and still manages to be better than 90% of shows on television. It stands to reason though, if you throw enough people, time and money at something, you can make better.

The Flash is filming an episode penned by X-Men: First Class, Thor screenwriter Zack Stentz.

Been watching the first season today and something strange popped out at me.

the end of the Felicity/Barry ship happened with Felicity leaving Central City on a train looking out at Barry running away & saying 'goodbye barry'

the end of the Patty/Barry ship happened with Patty leaving Central City on a train looking out at Barry running away & saying 'goodbye barry'

the fact that two of Barry's relationships have ended in identical fashion is strange to me... why did the writers do it that way for both women?

Cause there's no Central City Airport.

but... there is. we've seen the Flash at the airport before

Wtf that can't be The Rival! I'm excited to see The Rival but come on, this isn't even exciting, the whole appeal of the character is that he's the opposite of Jay Garrick. He even wears a dark version of his suit. This guy's suit looks like Barry's.

I am glad that he's not Savitar. Savitar also has a great look, I hope the live action version gives us a comics accurate costume

Wait, when was Rival mentioned?

I'm not holding my breath for something to be comics accurate on the show. But I'm curious to see what S3 has.

I think its based on the idea that Barry felt like he couldn't ever leave Central City. They talked about it at some point, where his whole life was centered around the death of his mother, and every decision he made was tied to that. That's why he became a forensic scientist, because deep down, his true goal was to find the man in the yellow suit.

Not to mention, it's sort of an old superhero trope, where the hero protects his home city.

but the exact same way.... feels lazy to me TBH.

Well ... yeah lol.

I think in the case of Patty, that relationship seemed to work too well to the point where weren't prepared for the exit, since I believe the actress signed on to a new show, so they needed a quick and easy way to get rid of her. It made no sense at the time and seemed to come out of nowhere, so I'm guessing they didn't really know how to break them up properly.

I always assumed they were talking about the hanger & not the actual airport as a whole?

There is a working airport in Central City, the Shapeshifter episode in S1 has it's big boss battle in the airport.
