Sarah Kerrigan
'Go young ones, feast on the fallen ...' The Queen said telepathically to the Larvae. A few of the infant Zerg crawled over to the dead workers, sucking upon their blood vehemently. She peered over to the Overlord, which looked to be on the brink of death: it would have to be sacrificed. The rest of the Larvae gorged upon it.
Kerrigan looked about at her surroundings once more. Realizing she was right in the heart of a large city, she'd need for her base to be hidden. It was quite a large building, and one that seemed quite abandoned; it would do. 'It is time my Swarm, become a hatchery so that more of your kind may be born.' Those that had indulged upon the behemoth fallen Zerg would use themselves and the Overlord's leftovers to become a Hatchery: the heart of any Zerg hive cluster. 'You are the heart of the Swarm, you will evolve to that which is the highest among your kind.' Eggs formed around the Larvae as they began to evolve.
The Larvae that were not evolving into the Hatchery sat motionless, waiting for their next command. Sarah approached them and looked at the dead corpses. 'You must go to your hatchery, for the Creep will nourish and support you. You are to become fat and one day evolve into a strain of much power; do as I have willed.' As they followed her command, Kerrigan looked at the corpse, seeing that they looked quite odd for Terran clothing.
She then walked out of the warehouse and cloaked herself. It was time that she found out where she was. She chuckeled as she stared at the primitive architecture of the skyscrapers. 'What kind of a joke is this place!? I must be on some backwater planet! They don't even know of my Swarms!' As the Queen of Blades continued to look around in her invisible state, she began to realize that this place couldn't be a backwater planet: the city was much too populated.
Walking down the sidewalk, she saw many more odd things: men in business suits!? People dancing on the sidewalk!? This was definitely not the dank and depressing Koprulu Sector. At last, she found a newspaper in a trash can. She picked it up and walked into a deserted alley, uncloaking herself. Kerrigan stared at the section that had been opened:
Global Warming: Is It Real or Not?
Political figure Al Gore continues to push his campaign on Global Warming Awareness. Studies have shown that the Earth's sea level could rise as much as 15 feet ...
She paused when she read the word "Earth." 'Earth ... home of the United Earth Directorate ...' She smirked, with blind rage and revenge overtaking her thoughts. "Oh Admiral DuGalle, I may have devastated your entire fleet, but you know what? I don't think that's quite enough. Your pathetic planet will just have to suffer, just like you made my Swarms ..." The Zerg Queen began to laugh hysterically, forgetting about the people that could see/hear her.
