Charizard landed on top of a large building looking over the large city.
"Where are we Charizard? What happened?"
Charizard gave Red a confused look. He had no clue either. The last thing that they could remember before they had ended up in this strange city was trying to find the legendary Pokemon named Mew for Professor Oak. Before they knew it they had been teleported into some strange new city. The strangest thing was that nobody here even knew what Pokemon were!
Red pulled out the two Pokeballs that held Squirtle and Ivysaur. They both had taken hard hits in the fight with the strange woman in the Wildlife Center, and luckily for them Red had plenty of Potions with him. He released both of the Pokemon from their Pokeballs and began to help them. Squirtle seemed to be doing a bit better, but Ivysaur still was hurting pretty badly.
"Here you go, pal." Red gave him some potion and the Pokemon instantly perked up.
Red then walked next to Charizard, who stood watch over the ledge of the building. "N.Y.P.D. I wonder what that stands for." Red turned to his other Pokemon, who had joined them as they looked across the street.
Suddenly, they could see a struggling figure in the alleyway across from the strange building.
"Is that what I think it is?" Red looked closer at the figure glowing in the darkness. "An Umbreon?" Red, Ivysaur, and Squirtle all jumped onto Charizard's back. "Come on, Charizard! Let's check it out!" The four of them swooped from the roof and right in front of the dark Pokemon.
Red dismounted Charizard, moving closely towards the Pokemon, which crouched down in fear.
"It's okay, buddy. I'm not going to hurt you." He grabbed a Pokeball from his belt, careful not to frighten the timid Pokemon. "You're confused like us, aren't you?"
Umbreon moved forward slightly. Squirtle jumped from Charizard's back and moved toward the struggling Pokemon. As it moved closer to the light, Red could see it was badly hurt. Not only that but it was mentally drained. Red hadn't seen that look in a Pokemon's eyes since he had gone up against Sabrina's Alakazam. Charmeleon had taken so many psychic attacks that it couldn't even think straight until it had been healed at a Pokemon Center.
"Did you get attacked?" Suddenly, Umbreon onto its side and collapsed.
Squirtle motioned for Red to help. Red tossed the Pokeball in his hand at the Pokemon. He would be able to give it greater help once he had a Pokeball programmed to its DNA sequence. The ball didn't even wiggle at all, like a Pokeball normally did when attempting to catch a Pokemon. The light instantly indicated that Umbreon at been caught.
Red picked up the ball. "Don't worry, pal. You're in good hands now."
