Which is why I suggested them in both roles and as Martha Ma Kent who would you go with? For Jonathan Pa Kent...I would go with Viggo Mortensen

For Martha Ma Kent I would go with Sally Fields because she played spidersmans mom so she can play another mom... for pa poppa Kent... how about cliff Robertson?

How would we feel if they went old school and made lex this mad scientist type villain? I would enjoy it - the story and writing would have to be top notch to make it work and not seem campy. It could be that lexcorp is a thing, but lex himself is way up in his ivory tower to ever get seen in public, the board do a lot and mercy is the face of the organisation, bit like Sarah Huckerbee Sanders, lex tho, he's as mysterious as he is smart - however, one of lex's scientific workers that just gets on with his job and leads a small team that almost have an x files department and ignored by upstairs goes off on a tangent when superman appears and they create all kinds of weird, nasty stuff and eventually produce kryptonite. He confronts superman and they have this cat and mouse game going on as this scientist has this obsession with him. Anyways, turns out that was luthor all along and it's actually the board that run it all, grace mercy and leave lex to it etc

Kendrick looks and acts too vunerable, prime Sandra Bullock would have been perfect. This is a lady that risks her life, answers back to criminals... i can't see Anna K doing that. Emma Rossum is my choice.

I mentioned this guy (Ryan Paevey) 2 pages back, below is a video interview with him from somewhere. The TV movie I saw him in was nothing special but his performance in it totally sold me on him as both Clark and Superman—more Superman than Clark, but I could see him pulling Clark Kent off pretty well too.

I'll never understand the fan cast for Armie Hammer, the guy is a plank of wood he doesn't display any of the warmth needed for Superman.

If they could make a great Superman film then maybe the DCEU would be fine but I don't know how they can unless they completely reboot the DCEU which I can't even see them doing now especially with Aquaman being a hit now; you are gonna have to roll with the DCEU with how things are now which means with a Superman film you are gonna have to do a soft reboot like think Thor when they did Thor Ragnarok as a soft reboot to the Thor franchise they are going to have to do something similar with the Superman franchise but how to go about it? Now that is the million dollar question now isn't it?

Call it Superman Rebirth, bring back Henry Cavill as Superman recasting the supporting roles of necessary (bring in Jimmy), Vince Vaughn as Lex Luthor and Robert Kazinsky we John Corben.

Yea he was in Mudsummer Murders and he wasn’t great in that. Also Hellraiser Hellworld springs to mind haha
