The Hal Jordan/Green Lantern Thread

I don't know what's worse: Superman's undies over tights or Green Lantern wearing a onsie over tights....never minds it's Lantern.

It's interestng how those old costumes stuck around as long as they did. Hal's costume was modernized only when he returned in 2004 and Superman didn't get rid of the red trunks until the New 52. Looking at this today, I still don't understand why there was such outrage when those slight changes were made. Their costumes are still practically the same, they just don't look like leotards anymore. Hal still has white gloves an domino mask, the green portion just doesn't go down to his crotch anymore and Superman has no S curl and red trunks.

One thing that this movie should take from New Frontier is the inclusion of Hal's origin hidden inside a Justice League story. That was such a smart move. Introduce Abin Sur in a small role in this movie, setting up Hal for the future

Judging by the trailer, in terms of interactions Hal's role on the team seems to be filled by Cyborg and Aquaman. They took his friendship with Barry and gave it to Vic and then gave his banter with Batman to Arthur. Damn, and here I thought they couldn't possibly give a bigger middle finger to this character than they already have.

They should make Green Lantern an alien in this one who likes to kiss people on each cheek when he meets them. It would be awesome and batman can do with a smooch

Go one further; make this GL G'Nort. He can then either sniff peoples asses or pi$$ on their shoes when he meets them - as awkward as Bruce would find a smooch, I guarantee that he'd find that more awkward.
