Didn't want to get the two girls in trouble (one of them works for Marvel's foreign marketing department), so can't link to where I found it. But it is legit, and not exactly hard to find on the web.

Anyhow, I came across this French featurette for a recent Marvel event where IM3 footage was shown. When the footage is obviously rolling (2:30 mark), we only see the audiences watching and applauding....what a tease.t:

I wonder what hard rock band is going to be the focus of the next film. for the first one it was black sabbath/ozzy.. then in part 2 it was AC/DC.. so for part 3, it will be...?

Pretty disappointing since October would be a great time to reveal/show off some new stuff.

Actually, it was Sabbath/Ozzy and AC/DC in *both* Iron Man movies. I'd expect more of the same for IM3.

Going to NYCC and it looks pretty full on Saturday. Their BIG panels this year that day are Evil Dead 2013, Carrie 2013, and Walking Dead S3.

We're getting a trailer soon so not to worry anyway.

I like those armors.

I see, design wise, Marvel and Shane Black REALLY wanted to differentiate from the past films. I think it works ok.

I do hope we see other armors though. Seeing as though this may be the last IM film, I'd love to see Tony has a vast armory now.

Just a wild guess, but I'm thinking the whole *point* of the "Iron Patriot" armor is to be tacky. War Machine is probably going to be paraded around by the US military in star-spangled colors in much the same way that Cap was originally used as a propaganda tool. I'd be willing to bet that Rhodey goes back to the familiar black and gray by movie's end.

agreed. The Iron Patriot armor is a propaganda tool. It's meant to say "We're America, and we have the best weapons".

Agreed. The new colors are nice, but this armor design could work so much better with the traditional War Machine colors.

One of the reasons it doesn't work very well now is because of the unbalance of colors, mainly in the arms. There's waaay to much red in the gauntlets and the upper arms, and the random bits of silver are bad as well.

Really, The war machine armor suffers from the same problems the Mark XLVI does.

Great designs, but with horrid color choices. These looks (color wise) could have been phenomenal, but the execution is, overall, average.

Why would Tony still let Rhodey have the suit if he's gonna be a puppet for the military ? Wouldn't he take it back ? Is that even Rhodey in that armor ?
