Jesse Plemons would make an interesting Joker, IMO
You might be able to have both. He could be wearing darker outfits in some scenes and something more colorful in others.Dress like 80’s Bowie, with a face that will give children nightmares for months on end.
I still think Scott Snyder/Greg Capullo’s Joker is what we’re getting.
@Prison Mike if Plemons can get back to his Breaking Bad weight then sure.

I think that's because he feels so real. Nicholson and Romero both feel pretty fantastical; Ledger was realistic too and could very well exist in real life, but Phoenix even moreso. The idea of a mentally disturbed man starting an uprising, culminating in him shooting a talk show host in a fit of impulsive rage isn't very far-fetched at all. He's very much in the realm of real-life spree killers, and I think someone even compared him to the Bjork stalker.Joaquin's the only one to have made my skin crawl.
I can't say I necessarily "enjoyed" the experience.
What if I told you... ten years ago was The Dark Knight?

Starting to really dig the idea of Andrew Garfield as the Joker. He deserves another shot at a comic book character. But something different.
He’s got the lanky build for it and he’s very physical. Can play lazy or high energy really well. The hair is already perfect. Twist that face of his up and i’d believe him.
Yes! He is the one I'm rooting for. I have no idea how he would play the part, which I find really refreshing. A little bit like how I didn't know how Pattinson was gonna play Batman, I just had a great feeling based on what a terrific actor he is. I'm tired of the suggestions that sound like "hey, this guy was creepy in this movie, he could be the Joker".View attachment 37299

Casting Andrew Garfield as The Joker WOULD appropriately be very similar to Pattinson's casting as Batman:
They're both still usually seen as teenage heartthrobs by the general audience despite redeeming themselves in a lot of smaller films as actual dramatic actors.
He, along with Caleb Landry-Jones, George Mackay, Bill Hader, Adam Driver, and Willem Dafoe are my top choices at the moment.
Chill bro it's just a pic. Oh, btw, I found a couple clips from Antiviral. I know it's not much but it helps get the creepiness across IMHO. I'm really digging the cinematographyThat pic of Garfield says Riddler to me.
