Jessica Biel is corny and brings a cheese factor IMO. She was miscast in Blade and should not be anywhere near a WW role or the JL IMO.

With that said I agree Joel Edgerton would make a better Hawkman, or Aquaman.

Batman/Bruce Wayne=Mat Bomer.

Ok let me start by saying... you guys are great. and i respect all of your opinions.. but am i the only one that has noticed that if someone is suggested for batman that has a beard he would make a better hawkman or aquaman. Men in suits not t shirts make better Batmans. No one but myself hasa suggested a Blonde for wonder woman. And some of the top choices are woman that have played the greek roman type of role before. Also dowe we know Gemma can speak with an american accent (I imagine WW wouldnt have a british accent right?) Flash is a funny guy. And Green Lantern suggestions require a certain type of hair. Suggestions i appreciate even though i may not agree with. Edgerton for Batman, Lauren Cohan for WW, Ackles for Green Lantern or my pick :) Ackles for Batman, And Ryan Phillipe as Flash.

Anson Mount had a beard and was suggested for Bats, and I've seen a pic of Mat Bomer with a beard and he would be good for Bats.

It's not that the other guys with beards just get suggested automatically for Aquaman or Hawkman, it's that the guys selected just look more their types and less Bats/Bruce IMO.

I would pick a blonde for WW, but haven't come across one that I think fits the bill, nor have I really looked. Plus most of the blondes I've seen rarely have brunette photos on google, so IMO it makes it hard to gauge if they would look okay as a brunette

As far as WW's accent goes, I would rather she have a slight accent in the film or a full blown one and chalk that up to her being from a foreign place that has been basically lost in time. American audiences are more willing to let that go regardless of the accent because most associate foreigners with having accents anyways. Plus, I think Diana would sound better with some type of accent or attempted American accent than without.

People can shave, when he's not in his Batman mode, Christian Bale used to have hair down to his shoulders and a beard about 5 inches long. Also, Flash isn't generally the funny man, he is supposed to be the every man. It's usually Hal (of the original 7) that is the "joker". Also, the New 52 Wonder Woman operates from London, so I don't care if she has an English accent.

Like I said a couple times, people are going for who they think is the best choice, not the best looking choice. So they go for good actors who can show versatility, over actors who are typecast in the, for example, loveable bad boy *****e character.

True, but I'm casting on actors that look the part and can act the part, not that can maybe/definitely act the part, but don't really look the part.
Which is weird because IMO Michael Keaton was the best Batman as far as characterization and charisma, but didn't necessarily "look" the part, but George Clooney--and closely second Bale--looked the part, but didn't necessarily act the part. At least not the part I was hoping for. Clooney was more an Adam West Batman. Bale IMO had the best all around though, but Keaton was Batman from DCAU.

Sorry, my response is to DRCDarkKnight. He is casting generally on looks alone.

Well looks are something i can gauge. I havent watched enough of the type of actors that will probably be cast IMO to know about what they're capable of. Which is what screen tests are for its how bale was chosen. He wasnt the 1st choice. I didnt think Bale looked the part at all actually BTW. I just feel like we cast like we choose apartments you always pick the staged one becasue someone has already shown you what it could be rather than a blank apartment and you have to project.... thats all.

Bale was always WB's first choice for the Batman reboot, way back to the Superman Vs Batman film. He was also Nolan's first choice.

I love Bomer. I'm on a White Collar spree right now and I do like him... but he's SOOO visibly short. He's practically only taller than Mozzie in the entire show!

I wouldn't mind Biel doing an additional role like Artemis.

I think Edgarton would make a brilliant Batman actually!

I wouldn't mind him as Hawkman but he's also a very very good actor and if we are talking about an ensemble movie his talents would be wasted as Hawkman. I'd much rather at least have him as GL!

The thing about the blonde that you did pick was that she was terribly wrong IMO! Chalize Theron is blonde and had age been on her side I would've completely loved her as WW!

Bomer is listed as 6'0. He may be that or might actually be 5'10. However, if Superman/Cavill is 6'1 then having a 5'10-6'0 Batman shouldn't be an issue. Plus, both actors would probably wear 3-4 inch boots.

I also think Edgarton is a fine actor. However, he has beady eyes and I don't like beady eyes lmao. He reminds me of beavis and butthead because of those eyes lol. Seriously though i think he might make a good Batman, it's just that I've waited so long to see the right actor that looks and can act like Bruce Wayne and Batman. Superman has a criteria and I wish they would follow the same for Batman. That's just my opinion.

I wouldn't mind Biel doing an additional role like Artemis.

Is that because she has used a bow and arrow in a prior comic flick lol? I don't want to see Biel anywhere near this property honestly. Some of you guys think that J.Timberlake is a cheesy actor, well that is how I feel about Jessica lol. I think she is fine in some roles, but for the most part overrated.

Age hasn't been kind to whom??? Charlize has aged gracefully and many women would kill to look half as good has her. I wouldn't have a problem with her being WW, she is only 37 and would probably be early 40s by the time the film comes out, but will still look 5 or so years younger. However, IMO she doesn't look like WW and I would rather they cast a different actress.

I don't think that anarchy said that she hasn't aged well. Just that she is too old to play WW anymore. 30 is probably the oldest the actress who plays WW will be.

And she'll be WW for a while, an almost 50 Diana just wouldn't work

new cyborg suggestion what about Chadwick Boseman(upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic "42")

Oh, I see. If he was trying to say that time was against her because WW probably won't get made until 2014+ then I get that, but it didn't sound like tha to me. Oh well...lol

She would be an awesome Hippolyta though.

This. I agree...

Really... Cyborg needs to be at most in the early 20s!

Oh my... Bomer is really 5'11", huh. Then I'll level with you-people on that show are really freakin tall... he looks almost like a midget in there. LOL.
If he is 5'11" though, I'm on board! Though, to be honest, his voicing Superman isn't gonna do him any favours.

Also, as someone pointed out, I meant Charlize was too old to do a franchise. She is still freakin gorgeous. I ain't blind! Heh.

Well since Cavill is 6'1 (maybe really 6'0) and they will probably put him in 3-4 inch boots, do you want an actor that is taller than Cavill?

Oh... I'm fine with Bomer now, as I mentioned in my last post above. He just looked more like 5'8"-5'9" when I watched the show which didn't make me particularly enthused! If he's 5'11", I'm good!

You seem to be missing my points a lot today, huh.:oldrazz:

Yeah, I'm tired and falling asleep as I write lol. However, I get what you are saying. I was just asking if you would be okay with an actor that is taller than Cavill see as how Superman is usually big and opposing.

One of my choices for Batman is Hartnett who is 6'3", so probably. But if Batman was taller than Superman, it just wouldn't sit right with most people and I respect that fact!

On screen it wouldn't really be so much of an issue though IMO. They could just put 4-5 inch boots on Cavill in scenes where he is standing right next to Hartnett or whomever plays Batman and use camera angles and movie magic lol.

As I said the Rock is 6'4+- and looked barely a couple inches taller than vin diesel, who is 6'0- in Fast 5.
