Exactly – I couldn't see it myself... but with Oscar winner Ben Affleck directing a solo Batflick, why not Brad Pitt?
Also, Darkseid is going to be prosthetic/CGI heavy - so why not DiCaprio... look at those eyes, the range he has in that face!
And Luke Evans... I don't think he's too big an actor yet to be out of the question! If Oscar Isaacs will play Apocolypse anything's possible.

It's fan-casting, and personal choice... don't know what's not to like there though!

I only like the Luke Evans choice. Nothing wrong with fan casting, I fancast but Brad and Leo are not going to be in a Justice League movie. And that's fine with me.

I'm sounding rude and I'm not trying to. I swear.

Hahaha – don't worry I know you're probably right, but what would be the point of this thread if everyone put mundane choices, or TV actors that don't have the 'chops'.
Let's face it - everybody hated Affleck's casting and most people are still out on Eisenberg - so what do we know!

That's not true! He was my first choice to direct the Justice League movie ever since I watched Argo. And I liked the idea of him playing Batman in the movie but I never thought that would actually happen! So, I never said that aloud.

I only like the Luke Evans choice. Nothing wrong with fan casting, I fancast but Brad and Leo are not going to be in a Justice League movie. And that's fine with me.

Evans is currently my top choice for Sinestro, feel like he'd kill it.

Yeah not making myself clear again! I meant the general consesus. I like Affleck, being a fan of Mallrats and loved Good Will Hunting etc., but he never occured to me as Batman. When he was cast I was unsure, but thought 'let's give him a chance' ...same when I heard Eisenberg's casting.
And now look - he's looks perfect and there will be a lot of people eating humble pie after this movie. t:

Will Smith is just as big of a star as either of them

Leonardo Dicaprio recently commented that he wouldn't be opposed to playing a comic book character

Dicaprio makes no sense for Darkseid though, but there are other roles he fits

I chose DiCaprio for based on the fact that he's proven he's good at playing the charming character who changes to psycho in an instant. Also he is very expressive - the picture I added was from the revenant showing a facial expression very similar to Darkseid - I could have easily picked a picture from Django etc.
Whoever plays Darkseid will be in prosthetics and CGI'd so to get the best out of the character you need a great actor ...if Paul Giamatti can play Rhino, Ben Kingsley the Mandaring and Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor, then Leo can definitely play Darkseid.

Also, while I know it's unlikely, it is worth remembering that...

Leo is a great actor obviously but a terrible choice for Darkseid. Imagine Leonardo Dicaprios voice for Darkseid, it just doesn't work at all

I anticipate that whoever plays Darkseid will have his voice modulated.
I don't see Bardem as Darkseid personally.
Look at it this way - the same guy played King Kong, Snoke and Gollum... Andy Serkis, because he is very expressive facially – I think Leo has that, as well as being a damn good actor. Don't get caught up in how tall an actor is or what he sounds like... SFX will take care of that.

I'm sorry but Leo as Darkseid doeant work. not seeing it at all.

He is a good actor, one of the best, but he fits Riddler or something, not Darkseid
