For the love of god, he's not going to play John Stewart! He has a contract with Marvel and unless he gets an early release, he's not going to be a DC Character.

Can we stop it with the "Elba should be Green Lantern" nonsense?

I'm not trying to pile on, I like some of the choices but don't get the Elba thing either.

Do you know the specifics of that contract? It obviously doesn't preclude him from taking other roles, so do you know if it specifically precludes him taking a role as a DC hero?

That would be my ideal lineup as well. Leave GL for a sequel or one of the follow up movies.

If Justice League delayed Shooting until 2017 for 2018, he might be available.

If he wants to play John Stewart real bad, ask to be released from his Marvel obligations and re-cast Heimdall.

I'm not a fan of Martian Manhunter or Cyborg, so they would be supporting members of the League. I'd add Green Arrow as the first non founding member added to the League, I like that character far more than Cyborg or Manhunter (I hate MM). Hal Jordan and Barry Allen are my versions of Lantern and Flash regardless. Have no interest in the other versions. I'd prefer to see Ben Foster as a villain somehow, otherwise he might actually be my first choice for Green Arrow.

Since I doubt that Ryan Reynolds will be back as Green Lantern my top choice is Bradley Cooper, which would make Ryan Gosling The Flash. So basically Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Bradley Cooper (Hal Jordan), Ryan Gosling (Barry Allen), Charlie Hunnam (Arthur Curry), Jensen Ackles (Oliver Queen) and Rick Worthy (J'onn J'onzz) would be the most realistic group.
