Still amaze me how we still have not seen a great on film Lex. This villain merits more. He is an all time great.

My daddy hurt me.

I have a real estate scam!

Yikes.

We have

BN did specify on film....Tv is not film.
I for one feel Jesse was much better than Gene and Kevin.

Depends what were defining as film, it's still on film. It just might not be on feature film :cwink:

Eisenbergs Luthor is phenomenal as well.

Rosenbaum was great.

Rosenbaum is my favorite Lex.

I had a tough time believing Eisenberg as Lex. We'll see what prison does to him.

I'm not a fan of Rosenbaum's Luther but I have to quantify that I gave up on Smallville like in season 2 I think. There were parts of his dynamic with Clark I liked. i thought his relationship with his dad was interesting for a while. But ultimately he didn't break bad hard enough for me.

I always felt like the worst and best thing that could happen to an atheist is the appearance of a God. Right there in the sky, right outta the blue. Thus, stunting humanity's growth etc. Like a germophobe who can see the small germ particles running through us. We were in the cusp of exploring other worlds, the human imagination, but all that is forgotten, no longer needed due to Superman's appearance. Our savior! No need for humanity to reach for the stars when the boyscout does that on a sunday. That is the type of Lex motivation i want to see. Man v God.

Mah daddy hurt me and god didnt save me thang is lame af.

I do like Eisenberg tho.

I like Jesse's Lex but he still has more story to tell for his character. Kevin Spacey could of been the best but he was given crap to work with. There is nothing redeemable about his character.

While I get what you're saying here, I really do, I just don't think anyone on this board should have the inclination to discuss this. Someone else's life battles are surely not for me to discuss, even in a practical manner such as this. I think maybe this has crossed a lot of our minds at one point, but it's not a discussion we should be openly running with.

Just my opinion

I agree. Its not really important. Lets just say there are always bad apples, and while it may change the level of visciousness for some, I dont think reviewers will do a 180.

Anyway...
Noted :yay:
I think they just look short from how huge his upper body is

Oh my geezus look at those lats :hmr: I wish I had lats like those.

M. Rosenbaum's Lex was so damn good. I didn't finish watching Smallville, but he was always a plus. No camp, no scheme, just a good kid gone bad.

I think if CW Supergirl ever does get a Lex, they should approach him first.

Rosenbaum was excellent. A shame we haven't seen more from him.

My problem with Rosenbaum's is that the dialogue they gave him often came off sounding like what an average (or sometimes seemingly below average) person thought a highly intelligent person like Lex Luthor would sound like but missed the mark and just came up with generic "smart guy" stuff for him to say, marring much of what everyone praises about him for me.
