The "Keep Hope Alive" (that the rights can revert back to Marvel) thread - Part 9

I truly feel like Fox is running on borrowed time with these franchises.

Fox, despite cranking out the most films for an individual franchise, really hasn't been successful as the other studios.

DOFP is their only Marvel film to gross over $400 million. And considering they've released 9 films including the FF films (working on the 10th and 11th with the FF reboot and 'Apocalypse'), that says ALOT about their films.

Sony has released half of the amount of that, and has never grossed under $600 million.

Fox needs to straighten up. They can only go so far now that they're beginning to lose the luxury of familiar and nostalgic faces like Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman.

Familiarity and quantity is why they've stayed afloat, but times are quickly changing.

Fox just needs to cut their loses or better yet when the time comes, keep twiddling their thumbs to where they lose both film rights once Tranktastic Flop and The Hugh Jackman Adventures finally closes shop with his final film for them.
