the look of venom

i like the way the teeth look in that pic, i think that he should appear not to have that much control over the suit though, like in USM and the original comics

i totally agree

No symbol, but a lot like the licker on the resident evil movies .

he HAS to have the symbol! the symbol represents Venom almost more than the toothy grin and flickering tongue! all you have to see is that symbol, and you know "Venom!" it's as classic and recognizable as Superman and Batman's symbol (just about).

besides the aestethetic, if he didn't have the symbol, he'd just be a black blur. i think if we're going to be able to really see his movements and what's going on, he's going to have to have some sort of detail going on. just look at the Alien movies. the aliens are completely black, and it's hard to see what they're doing unless they're lit from every angle. it works for those movies, they're supposed to be scary/horror movies.

and i know, i know. Venom's supposed to be scary/horrorific too, but he has to fit into Spider-Man's world and have huge, kick-@$$ fights with him. how are we supposed to enjoy these fights if we're only able to see Spider-Man fighting a black mass? or worse yet, Spider-Man in the dark so we can barely see him, and only be able to see Venom's eyes and teeth? seeing his eye and teeth behind Spider-Man would be cool, but only as a reveal. not for his entire existence on screen.

so i say give him his symbol. make him look like Bagley did in his Amazing run back in the day.

how do you want venom to look like in the new movie

Let's see...how bout' NOT crappy?!

Symbol, not too much teeth/tongue. Kind of like the 94 spider-man series interpritation of Venom, not so much the comics/artists.

It HAS to look beleivable, ppl! Like you'd actually BELEIVE you could run into this guy in the street!

Hah, I have the very same poster on the wall in my bedroom. I've had that one for years.

You wouldnt run into venom on a street. See, hes kind of terrifying, so you would probably run away from him. The idea of a symbiotic creature living on a human being and giving them powers just isnt beleivable. Of course, he HAS to look like he could exist, just not in a "how are ya, neighbor?" sense.

That's the best-looking Venom ever, in my opinion!

Venom definitely should have the Spider Symbol. But I don't want to have any spikey teeth, slobber, or a giant tongue.

He should start out like the McFarlane Venom with a nice, big, white, grin and then evolve into a monster like the Bagley Venom.

I've never been that big a fan of the big-snarling-monster Venom, mainly because a lot of the time it seems like people lose track of the fact that there's still a guy in there. Sure, having a head with a massive slavering jaw looks scary, but where's Eddie's head in the middle of all that?

I'd go with something closer to the MacFarlane Venom, just a bigger nastier Spider-Man with fangs.
