No ultimate Venom either. I've thought about it. I think they should keep with classic. Ultimate is sometimes disappointing.

i just dont see how they would introduce eddie brock and venom into one film with out taking the shorter story though. besides its not that far-fetched: an organic body suit that was made to cure cancer. it seems comic-reality possible and could give peter/eddie some kind of relationship since their fathers created it.

if they try and do the real story (1)it wont fit into one film and will be ruined (2)they would have to cut out alot and it wouldnt flow/make sense.

the only thing that i could think of is jameson going into space and the suit stowing away as the shuttle crash-lands into the hudson river. then eddie is on sight taking pictures and he finds the suit right away. but then that wouldnt really explain why it mimics spiderman or why eddie hates him so much.

I think Sam Raimi will go with the Spider-Man TAS version of the symbiote saga, otherwise what would've been the point of introducing John Jameson if it could've been Harry MJ ran back to, was proposed to by, and ultimately left at the altar for Peter. 616 Venom is the way to go when the character is introduced.

this is how i think ^that^ would go:
-symbiote stows away on jameson's shuttle
-shuttle crash-lands on GW bridge- spidey to the rescue
-eddie pursues spidey to ID him and get his job back
-spidey finds suit- new abilities n rage
-sandman robs bank- spidey takes him out n more rage
-harry becomes hobgoblin n attacks spidey 2-3 times for revenge
-final showdown in church tower- eddie follows
-spidey dominates n almost kills harry- peter fights back
-clock strikes 12 n symbiote goes crazy
-spills away n finds brock- venom is born
-venom/symbiote already full of built-up rage and goes berserk on peter/harry
-peter eventually beats him- dunno what would happen to harry

this could work but it would either be a really long movIe or it would have to be a real short fight with venom in the very, very end. raimi will probably wanna explore the peter/harry relationship, which makes sense, but i wouldnt want venom to be short-changed like that n i dont think venom fans would either. i wanna see a cat-n-mouse thing with venom terrorizing spider-man cuz he hates him.

Has anyone seen the movie 'THE MASK' with jim carrey? The only reason I ask is because there are some ideas in there for venom. When the bad guy puts the mask on his voice changes, that would be a good way for venom to sound and the guys tongue becomes all snake-like, just like venoms but not as long. CG the tongue! Have the guys face come thorugh the mask as well, in some parts!
