Let's take a look at the forecast for the weekend, and...

Cool. Cool. Not cool.

Aw, thanks CC. It's the thought that counts. :D

Return of the Jedi is on TV. Palpatine calls a lightsaber a "Jedi weapon". That seems needlessly judgmental. I mean, he had one. He used it to do a tilt-a-whirl while screeching once.

That's the problem with prequels. They always contradict the important things.

Yea well Confirmed Pathological Liar Obi-Wan also claimed he was trained by Yoda, and that he'd never had a droid before.

Oh another Obi-Wan stretch.....he told Luke that when he first met Anakin he was already amazed by what a great pilot (podracer? ehhh close enough I guess) he was and how strong he was with the Force.

That's some favorable revisionist history at best, considering his actual comment on Anakin joining them was to complain about picking up another "pathetic life form".

let's be completely honest here.... Anakin would have ****ed obi wan up if revenge of the Sith didnt need some form of hero

Pre-burn Vader is still my favourite prequel character. I don't care about the whiny moments, he looks cool.

two of my favorite SW scenes are when he marches into the jedi temple... and that tear on the lava planet whatever its called

It's the overhead shot that does it. Movie should have had more of that. And not an extended scene of him killing Nute Gunray or whatever racist aliens they had on Mustafar.

i wouldnt be the guy to know... but wasnt Ryan Phillipe Lucas' top pick for Anakin?

Heath Ledger would have been great imo, but honestly I am so use to Hayden at this point, thinking of anyone else feels wrong. Especially after loving TCW interpretation.

I like Ryan Phillippe, but I'm not convinced he would've been much better than Hayden. Back in those days, he had a constant case of Blue Steel going on.

And we would have missed out on the magnificent hair!

Seriously though, I am now imaging Hayden in Cruel Intentions, and it really isn't far off.
