The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

I think, and I may be totally off base so please correct me, that the first picture is from the party crashing scene. I believe that is Wuertz's neck that his hand is on....Just what I always assumed about the picture. I love that picture more than I can describe in words.
The second is from everyone's favorite Slaughter 13 wheeler.
Yay for pictures of the Joker!
Good eye. Welcome to the Hype.

I love how they treated the Joker almost as a supernatural creature.
How he seemed to appear, to quote Jonah Nolan "out of thin air" on that sidewalk in the beginning, how he looked to be the only one surviving the precinct explosion (that crazy shot with his head down and all the debris flying around him), or the way he sticks his tongue out like a snake (I suppose the most common representation of the devil). Any other example ?

The Joker is indeed rather special in The Dark Knight. This was one of the most comic accurate moments in the film. Consider The Joker from the comics, he seems unable to die, no one intimidates him, he can do almost anything he wants and has absolutely no regard for his own wellbeing.
I mean, remember that bit from Hush? Batman is beating the guy bloody and all he does is make a joke about it all.
We can see that clearly in the film, a guy who seemingly takes nothing seriously and is nigh on invincible because of it.

Well said.

yea Joker deffinatly has a supernatural element about him. thats why i disagree with some people about Joker possibly being real. hes just like a ghost or a wraith, a symbol just like Batman intended to be, but a exact opposite symbol than Batman.
I like it in the TAS episode "mad love" when Batman knocks Joker off the train and he appears to fall down a factories chimney to his death. then at the end when Harley is put in her cell, still angry at what Joker has done to her, a rose with a note from "J" is waiting for her. brilliant episode.

I wouldn't equate survival of apparent death strictly to the Joker. So many comic villains have had near death experiences and survived.

lol yea if Harley was real i deffinatly would!!! theres summin about phychopathic girls that makes me think they'd be good in the sack!

When a girl tells you she wants to be hit as hard as you can to the point of incapacitation, that is a lot for anyone to handle.

lol now you say that...........maybe it aint such a good idea!!! but if Harley was real i still deffinatly would, i could imagen her shagging someone to death sorta like that xena out of Goldeneye!

his acid spitting flower thingy

actually scratch that. his gun that shoots out the little "bang" flag, but the shoots the flag impaling whoever he's aiming at

trust me no...they are insane to the point of being disturbing.
The freakiest girl I ever had was like that ... she turned me out. I would tell females I'm a freak, but when you experience just a taste of some of the other things out there. I was like damn, I'm pretty tame. Meat and potatoes for me. haha
