The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

The scenes really aren't that redundant though.

Bank heist.
Interrogation.
Street showdown.
Jail break.
Party.
Barges.
Filmed message.

That we know of for sure.

And the ones not in the trailer (the barges weren't though :P) :

Assassination.
Body Bag Joker.
Hospital.
(Grumpy Clown) Mob Boss Discussion
(Sheldon) Burning Money.

The scenes are stacking up.

Must be a long scene -- at least ten minutes. The Joker crashes the party, approaches Rachel, meets Batman, has a fight, beats Batman, drags Rachel to some roof-top, chucks her off...

Long scene. I love it.

You've seen the film? Please tell us more.

I'm obviously using my powers of prescience in order to determine how the scene plays out. That includes footage from the trailers and various leaked pictures.

In other words you're guessing and can't confirm anything.

Well the party scene sure as hell ain't lasting 3 minutes.

Yah. That's got to be a long scene. It might even be very long... begins with Dent and Rachel on a date, Wayne chats with them, playboys around the room a bit, Rachel and Wayne meet outside and have a heart to heart, Dent jokes around with Alfred, THEN Joker crashes the party, comes on to Rachel, Bruce goes off to change, Batman smashes into the party, Batman and Joker fight, Joker gets Rachel to the balcony, Joker shoves Rachel off, Batman forced to jump after Rachel and save her... etc etc

A guy dressed up in clown makeup that goes around killing people for fun clearly has issues. Sorry I just got done watching Begins.

what if for some reason(like it happened in the cartoons/comics)Alfred has to don the cape/maybe a fake batman has been following the Joker, and Joker letting go Rachael off a ledge(r) :) is a test to see if it really is Batman....

Harvey loses it..

Bruce stares @ Alfred or the guests however it plays...

which is why bruce is staring at his mask on that one scene in the penthouse

yes but you're taking droplets of a pond and calling them special though :)

I think the less the Joker is shown the more powerful his scenes will be. Of course I want him to get a lot of screen time, but Bruce/Batman and Harvey should get the majority of it.

I get the feeling thats what the film will be, which is excellent, im trying to get hyped for the film as a whole and not just the joker, which i find hard at times, if the joker gets the same amount of screen time jacks joker did then i'll be pleased.

Someone of the cast crew (or maybe Nolan) said the Joker will be like the shark in Jaws. I think he'll appear more of the time at unexpected moments.

Yeah Nolan said that in an interview, he said the Joker just comes and tears through at unexpected times.
