Heck yeah, Depp is one of the worst choices for the Joker. He doesn't have the look, and isn't even that good of an actor. At least to me he aint.

Johnny Depp has become a parody of Johnny Depp. As for recasting...I honestly don't even know if I want a third movie. Let alone a new Joker.
I'm almost of the opinion that trilogies are cursed earth.

I think they should do a part three, and if they don't recast Ledger have some reference to the Joker or something. Either way, if the Joker were to come back, he's only going to have some sort of small part since Two-Face is intended to be the main villain.

Oh, and go watch Secret Window, he's marvellous in that.

Sparrow was brilliant because it was totally different type of character. Especially one that is in the center of a movie. Sure, a lot of the inspiration was from a real-life person, but for Depp to create that from outta nowhere is very impressive.

Even though it was technically a DISNEY production. I don't think it falls into the category of a "Disney movie". I'm not nit-picking your statement or anything, but the Pirates trilogy was beyond the convention of a kids movie. (Despite the fact that I'm sure lots of kids saw and liked it...........................but that's beside the point, heh)

And yes, if they would want to replace Ledger, I'd be happy with Depp. But, from what I've seen, he'll have big shoes to fill. And, honestly, I can't think of anyone else they could choose. We can reach into the old Joker hype bag and pull out some of the old rumoured choices from way back when....Crispin Glover? haha
