jack was a diva when they made 89 batman thought. he made all sorts of outragious demands like what hours he would work, taking a percentage of the box office and stuff like that. i suppose he paved the way for these sorta deals that actors strike up with film studios. not taking anything away from him though because he is a absolute legend in my book!

Something like only X hours per day and no work on fridays and certain US sports events were to be taped for him to watch. I think the only thing he didn't request was a production assistant to wipe his bottom after defecating.

Doesn't sound so unreasonable to me. There are people who want bottled water heated to an exact temperature or a certain ammount if white lillys.
Besides, if you could choose your working hours I doubt you'd pass up the opportunity.

BTW asking for a bit of the film earnings is not divaish its smart business. He raked in 60 million of that movie, the highest earning for an actor to date. Anyways I have a question to pose to you folks. I'm currently in a debate with this guy in another forums about Joker in this film. He is trying to say that he found no humor in any of Joker's antics. Now I listed the pencil trick, the hospital wobble, the ordurb feasting as he crashes the party, the smacking of the guest, and so on and so forth. Now I'm not saying he was comical through out but I'm not crazy to say that some of the stuff he did or said was funny am I?

He is trying to say that he found no humor in any of Joker's antics. Now I'm not saying he was comical through out but I'm not crazy to say that some of the stuff he did or said was funny am I?

He was doing something funny almost every time he was on the screen. So yeah, I wouldn't say you're crazy at all. Or if you are, you're not alone. The people in my theater were cracking up over the Joker's antics in this movie... especially when he was in the nurse outfit.

Either I have misunderstood something, or that is the craziest spelling of hors d'oeuvres I have yet seen.

I thought he had a lot of very comical moments, but the reason I find them funny is because I know how the joker should act. If you saw this guy in real life and had no knowledge of "the joker" I would think the guy was completely crazy and would want to be as far away from him as possible. I think that is the difference, we all know how the joker should be from comics, cartoons, other movies, etc. so its ok for us to find it comical. That doesn't make us crazy, or does it?
