You probably play FF a lot, that's why.
The only FF I've played and beaten was the first FF. I've tried FF2 which is also on FF Origins and I've not touched it in 3 years. The other FF's are gathering dust in my closet.

I apologise for ever saying this game was nothing special. I just watched all the footage for it that has been released.

Im sorry.

This looks better than OBLIVION.

What changed your mind?

I guess I just dismissed it because I didnt like the KotoR games. I saw one of the first videos and some screens and nothing really interested me. I hit Youtube the other day and checked out all the footage and read a few developer interviews... It looks awesome.

I thought it was for the first 2 weeks, but after that.....:down :(

Yeah, KotOR > Oblivion. I've went back to Oblivion and found that it's actually pretty good if I'm not going in expecting it to at least be as good as Morrowind. But as far as length (this is actual CONTENT, as in quests, not just wandering around doing nothing for the sake of making the game seem longer), story, soundtrack, and all the other stuff that makes a good RPG good, KotOR stomps it. Morrowind and KotOR could go toe to toe...but not this. They dropped the ball with this :(

Anyways, despite being wrong about KotOR's superiority compared to Oblivion, I'm glad that you finally came around Mentok, you'd missing out on one of the biggest reasons to own a 360 if you didn't play these.

Well the 360's just getting one hit after another starting next month.

Finally! :D Oblivion and the Rare games can't hold me forever. (I need Condemned)

If this gets a Feb 2007 release, I hope they speed up their release schedule (so long as they don't sacrifice quality of course) and get Mass Effect 2 out by Christmas 2007, and the final game in the trilogy by the Summer. I don't want an annual release schedule, that's too long to wait considering the first two games will probably end in cliff hangers :(

I don't know if it was Silicon Knights or Bioware speaking on their trilogy, but one of them DEFINITELY does not have any cliffhanger endings.

Hopefully it's Mass Effect. Too Human's story is based on pre-existing Norse stuff, I could find it's ending if I looked really hard. Mass Effect would just be unfinished for several months.

But Mass Effect will have episodic content (even if it's just a mission somewhere) to keep players going.

Yeah, but that's released between the games, so it's still a wait. And the episodic content isn't just a mission somewhere, they're supposed to be entirely new "main quest" sized things. They're going to bridge the story between the three games, which is an awesome idea I think. Hopefully they aren't much more expensive than most PC expansions, I don't really wanna spend upwards of $20 on something like that, even though I would if they charged it.

I think they'll end up being shorter than that. Bioware just might let you down if their episodic content isn't huge. :(

I sometimes wish Jesus would make a game engine. We'd never need another console.

But anyways, Bioware let me down with Jade Empire. So...

But Mass Effect is already too awesome to believe. One of the many reasons the 360 is the best next-gen console.

Bioware didn't let you down with Jade Empire, you just suck. What kind of complaint is "it has a lot in common with KotOR, a game that is universally regarded as Christ"? :(
