Since the book comes out today here is where we can talk about it. I just pray to god it will not be like AS B&R.

I have been waiting for so long it seems like and now I finally get to pick the book up. Hopefully my shop will hold onto one of the limited edition variant covers for me.

This is a great issue. I love it. This is how All-Star B&R should have been. I love his Clark as well. I would have gotten the variant cover but it is 10.00 so I have that on hold till next week. But I love this issue pick of the week.

Got it loved it, but I loved All-Star B&R. :p

I loved the return of clumsy Clark again.

    I picked up both covers.

The varient is just so awsome looking I had to spend the 10 bucks for it.

How much was it at your guys shops?

This issue was freakin awesome, man you guys got lucky I had to spend 20 bucks to get the variant cover. I loved the part where they were measuring his strength and it said he was holding 200 trillion tons and wasn't even reaching his limit. Clark was great too especially the "working on my sun-tan chief".

Good first issue. For as fast and loose as All-Star Bats is, this one's playing it pretty safe.

There was no way in hell I was shelling out $10 for a variant cover. That's just me.

Really the only thing I didn't like was how they skipped the orign and they revealed him to Lois way to soon.

Well he is about to die so I think Clark would consider telling Lois pretty damn important.

Good issue, still I hope we can get to know Superman better.

He seemed very casual about the Sun incident though.

Post Crisis Superman would probably sulk for 6 issues though.

Best Superman story I've read in years. :) . Silver age sensibilities with mature characterizations rather than the CCA drivel, goddamn I cannot wait till #2.

Heck yes man. That's how a Superman story should be. I liked Quitely's art too, and I didn't think I would.

Clark Kent is dead on from what we've seen. Lex, Perry, Lois, and Steve Lombard:eek:

    Superman looked great.

I just love how wierd Morissons mindset is. The Bizarro drones, the whole moon station were awsome. I can't understand how can people hate this guy.

    Can't wait for issue 2.

Oh man this has been my favorite read since Superman: secret Identity, Quitely's art is different but great nontheless and seeing elements that john byrne introduced in't too shabby either.

Yes. Straight to the freaking point. If only the movie could do this as well, and half the guys on the SR forum can finally shut up....

I sometimes wonder if it's even possible for Quitely to draw a female face without squinty eyes. I love Quitely's storytelling ability, but sometimes it's a bit distracting.
