I really like that they aren't going to just gloss over the insect controlling powers. That is a big part of Ant-Man's underdog appeal. Most people look at his power set and are dismissive at first glance, but much like Aquaman, when you start to think about it you realize the inherent potential that is there.

Well it's official I still don't get it. Movie still looks mediocre to me but I'm sure the Marvel name will carry it through critically and financially.

Really? I'd imagine 500 wouldn't give it a massive profit. I mean according to Deadline GoTG's total cost was 520 million. I can't imagine Ant-Man was much less.

Anyway the trailer was way better than the first one which I enjoyed. Rudd sounded a lot like Pratt.

You may be right, but won't know till we get all those sort of details, I'd imagine this wouldn't be as expensive to make as Guardians, but who knows all that shrinking stuff could drive up the costs. I think however if it is great it could do Guardians like #'s.

I love the 2nd trailer.

I keep watching it again and again.

Looks like Marvel isn't taking the audience for granted.

They could've just cruised by after Avengers 2 but Ant-Man looks like they won't rest on their laurels this summer.

I really liked this last trailer more than what came before it. The sense of scope and adventure seemed grander. I think it's good that they're embracing a sense of humor about the project and source material and not being uber-serious about it all. Good balance.

Yellowjacket looked like a real menace. A bit more excited overall, though I lost track of the July 17 release date.

Agreed, this was a much better second trailer. You saw the humor that will hopefully be the selling point.

I wasn't blown away by the first 'teaser' but never doubted it would bomb. That full length trailer is really well done, Marvel are on fire at the moment, now to watch Daredevil and then Avengers: AoU to tie me over until July..

This trailer was very good at explaining ant man, I think the GA might actually get it after that trailer, very much like how the first Guardians trailer explained them perfectly.

I enjoyed the 1st trailer but this one just was so much better. I remember hearing people say that the test footage was better than the 1st trailer. If they don't like this one then they just wanna hate it.

I loved the action, we saw him taking on guards and that Yellowjacket fight was hilarious and amazing at the same time. I don't know why but I feel like shedding a tear in that scene where he's running with ants.

Awesome trailer. I loved the first teaser and I love this one even more.

I have to admit, as weird as it may sound, that I'm even more excited about this film than The Avengers 2. Yep, I said it (I've felt this way since the teaser too).

Most people probably mistook teaser for trailer, it was exactly what it was meant to be, get people thinking, interested and await the full trailer (like we have for what feels like forever!)

The test footage was great, but it was only test footage, I was impressed with the speed at the shrinking/enlarging.. the part with the gun running was great and I'm glad that was kept in.. Haters gon' hate as they say.. Lang can definitely hold his own as Ant-Man against the guards and Yellowjacket fight looks like it will be one of the best on film yet.. I know what you mean about the feeling when he's running with the ants, I'm sure they won't be named but I think they won't just be a "weapon" for him, but allies, that will protect him (as I think I glimpsed in the trailer when they're falling in a water pipe?) and he'll fight for them..

Also - do we think Yellowjacket will have a swarm of his own under his control (there was promo art of him flying with some I think) or is that technology Pyms own making, we see they can both shrink/grow, but can they communicate with their respected insect?

Always believed this property had potential and this doesn't change my mind. I am greatly ANTicipating this film.
