Trailer was great, can't wait for this movie. Does it ever explain in the comics why he weighs less when he is smaller? Never read any Ant-Man comics...

That new trailer looked great. The first one felt unoriginal and generic and nothing special, the new trailer looked fresh and fun and dynamic.

Very, very impressed with this first full trailer! I liked what they did with the teaser trailer but they scored here big time I feel.

Plot simplified and explained: Cross has stolen Pym's Yellowjacket suit, Cross says by hiding it you've endangered the lives of those you hold most dear. He plans to sell it, or one like it to the highest bidder. Hence Pym's line, "You can't give powers like this to everybody, it'll be chaos".

Scott Lang profiled: A thief looking to make good. A thief who wants to be more for his daughter.

Ant-Man suit & powers shown/explained: "While you're small you'll have superhuman stregth and the speed of a bullet"; It's shown how he can work with the ants even if controlling them wasn't fully stated.

Humor in the trailer was organic and didn't feel forced. I like how the film following the World Shattering events of Age of Ultron is smaller in scope, no pun intended, but still serious and can be handled by one well equipped individual.

I'm feeling even better about this now!!

The Yellowjacket design kind of shows that they could have done Ultron's face the old-fashioned way and it would have still been intimidating.

NOW THAT WAS A FANTASTIC TRAILER! WOO!

I'm very excited to watch this on July 17! Everything looks and feels right about this movie. The effects, the story, the characters, the cast, the tone, the costumes, the look, everything.

I'm thinking Kevin Feige, Paul Rudd, Adam McKay and Peyton Reed will hit this movie out of the park.

Oh, Thomas, the Tank Engine is the true hero of this movie. Haha.

Edgar who?

We are gonna complain about this again? Ultron is what it is now so that's that. He still looks intimidating and from the reaction of those who've seen the film there didn't seem to be any complaints about him so. Let's just focus on Ant Man and not turn this into something else about classic comic Ultron.

:lmao:

It wasn't the intimidating thing that was the problem. They wanted Ultron to be more than just intimidating. Besides I think his face will end up that way at the end, his final form seems set up to become a jack o lantern face when damaged.

I spotted Martin Donovan clapping in the crowd along with Hank in the Pym Technologies lobby?

I also noticed a tiny Yellowjacket in a glass container be looked at by Hope and Hank

While I liked the original teaser fine and I think I gave it an ok 6-7/10 rating...this was sooo much better. Not one of the best trailers I've ever seen or anything but yeah, this hit the spot just right. And that last bit after the title came up was truly brilliant.

8.5/10

The Thomas gag worked and the Yellowjacket design is great, but I'm not feeling it. It just feels kinda generic to me. But I guess I just want to hate it. :whatever:

So I gotta say.. looks like Marvel has done it again.. They managed to take something that could easily be very cheesy on paper, and made it awesome. This looks great! I think marvel may have pulled another Guardians

I think Cross stole the technology. Not the suit. Pym doesn't want his technology in the wrong hands. He could just make a Yellowjacket suit himself, why would he have to steal it?

It's because Cross stole his tech and ideas.

This has been the movie I'm most hyped for since 2007 when I read about it.

this may be the movie I'm most hyped about ever. Adding Adam McKay put it over the top for me.

July needs to hurry up! Can't wait to see Rudd at the AoU premiere with the whole gang together.

I hope this trailer filters into the pop culture conciousness and builds up the film's profile. I think that Ant-Man got lost in the build up to AOU, so if the film is as strong as this trailer suggests then it would be a shame to me if it didn't live up to it's potential BO wise. Then again, with AOU being the hit it's guaranteed to be, they can perhaps transfer some of that buzz to A-M once AOU has been in theaters for awhile.

Well you can't please everyone. The smart people don't even bother trying to.

I have no doubt that will happen.
