Glad the movie is getting a positive reaction, AOU was a disappointment to me so I would love for this to be really good to make up for that.

I love Rudd's friendly portrayal of Lang in the 4th tv spot. Seems like someone you can relate to and enjoy a few laughs with.

He's a gentleman thief.

These just surfaced over on IMDB. I don't know if they're real - more likely fake - but still, potential major spoilers:

Spider-Man is mentioned DURING the movie, he isn't a credit scene. It seems he is already established and has powers there is just a passing joke about "Ant-Man? Remind me to stay out of NY, I don't want to get eaten by Spider-Man" (Sorry, it's not an exact quote but its close enough).

The first credit scene is the terrorist attack that Civil War starts with is on the news (you don't see anyone fighting, no cameo of Cap or anyone, just a news reporter with blurry footage of destruction aftermath), just news that stuff is happening in Rowanda. You just see Scott watching this on a tv. Nothing special.

The second scene takes place far away. It has nothing to do with Ant-Man. But you do follow a fly for a little bit, the fly starts outside, it goes into a decent sized brown house. It kind of looks familiar if you are a comic fan. You don't know where it is but in flight, all of a sudden, it gets ZAPPED like it hits an invisible bug zapper. The camera pulls back and DOCTOR STRANGE is meditating, floating and his finger is raised and glowing like a blue aura. He doesn't smile, he just sits there floating. Eye's closed. In full costume too.

Part of me thinks they aren't real, though, since it seems [BLACKOUT]almost a certainty at this point Lang will be a part of the Avengers by the end of the movie[/BLACKOUT]

Why did I even doubt Marvel T_T. Can't wait till this comes out! So two versions of the 2 after credit scenes hmm... tough call. Neither one doesnt sound more likely than the other.

I like Thor 2 :csad:
I like both Thor films.

I like the Thor films more than the Iron Man sequels.
I'm going to be super happy if this turns out to be another surprise hit for Marvel. I must admit it was hard to get excited for this one, only because other than the way he was shown in Avengers EMH, Hank Pym has never been a likeable character (and yes I know the movie is about Lang), so it was hard for me to get excited for this film.

And lets face it the way Ant-man/Giant-man is portrayed in the Ultimates, no one would go see a solo movie based on that character.

Marvel has got me invested in a character I probably could have cared less about. That's saying something!
I think Hank Pym is likeable in West Coast Avengers, Avengers United They Stand (when he lead the team), Mighty Avengers and Avengers Academy.

Mark Waid writes a fun and entertaining Hank Pym.

To be fair almost everyone in the ultimate comics is unlikeable, it isn't just Pym.

I doubt people would be queuing up to see a ignorant xenophobic Captain America whose son is the Red Skull. Red Skull is a baby murdering rapist.

That and [Blackout]It's not a good introduction to Strange since the majority of people have no idea who he is. [/blackout]

I loathe everything Ultimate....even the good stuff by association lol

I just hope we don't get any leaked fake outs like that Avengers post credit one.

That's not really valid as Thanos and the twins were both revealed post-credits and they are not anymore well known than Strange. Thanos and the twins are picking up popularity now, but when those stingers came there were a lot of confused people in the audience

Thanos' after credits showed that he was behind the events of the Avengerd. The twins showed that they were experimented on and what they're powers were. This [blackout] shows Strange as a bug zapper. [/blackout]

According to Mayimbe, THESE are the two credits scenes. MAJOR SPOILERS:

The first mid credits scene:
Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) gives the WASP costume with wings to Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). Hank explains to Hope what happened to Hope's mother Janet Van Dyne.

Final credits scene:
This one leads into Captain America: Civil War.
The scene has Captain America, The Falcon, and The Winter Soldier. Cap and Falcon have located The Winter Soldier to a remote location where The Winter Soldier is tied up.
Falcon asks Cap "Should I call Stark?"
Cap replies "No."
Falcon replies "I know who to call." Implying Ant-Man.
In case you didn't know, Falcon is in Ant-Man in a few key scenes.
There ya have it.

Heroic Hollywood says those credit scenes are false:

Oh man oh man I hope Mayimbe is right about this one! Those sound amazing.

Even though I'm not sure I understand the second one, unless it's set up in the movie.

I wonder if Wasp's wings use the same technology as Falcon's. Like Pym designed the wings for the military back in the day.

There are always bad post-credit rumors flying around. Remember the Guardians of the Galaxy ones that said Iron Man flew into space at the end of Iron Man 3 and sent a message to them, or the one that said Richard Rider is in the Guardians post-credits scene?

Ant-Man is hanging with some bad guys on the cover for the post-secret wars issue of Ant-Man

Artist Mark Brooks’ teaser creation is loaded with classic comic book faces. Left to right, there’s Whirlwind, Porcupine, the new Beetle and Grizzly (yes, the villain whose go-to look was a giant furry bear suit/exoskeleton). When we asked if the black-and-white motif was alluding to a flashback or something else, Spencer said he thinks Brooks was playing with “a little bit of a ‘Breaking Bad’ homage. I think Mark Brooks took some inspiration there in terms of the color choices.”

But that doesn’t explain why the cover for "Ant-Man No. 1" surrounds Scott Lang with villains. Spencer pulled back the curtain a little further and said, “We’re hinting at a major development for Scott. Scott is an ex-con, he’s a guy with a criminal past. This teaser hints that he may not be quite as reformed as we might have thought. This is our first big hint that Scott’s going to find himself back in his old world, back in a criminal life.” However, Moss warned to take a closer look before assigning Lang a spot in the rogues' gallery, “The key thing to take away from the promo images is, if you look at Scott’s hand that he’s holding behind his back, he has his fingers crossed.” So don’t count Scott out just because he’s hanging around with a bunch of bad guys.

Other villains not pictured on the cover, but still a major part of the new Ant-Man title include Darren Cross and a classic Marvel villain whom Spencer would not name, but teased as "'80s-tastic."
From The LA Times

I guess the giant sized villain is either Gargantua, Atlas or Dr Nemesis.

Gargantua first appeared in the eighties

I wonder if TI's Dave will end up being David Cannon, aka Whirlwind.

I recently saw an extended trailer that was half Japanese(I think) and it practically gave away the entire plot, I'm talking every single last detail.

It didn't give away everything, but it explained the basics of the plot, at least the first half anyways
