As was mentioned last page, the de-aging effect on Douglas is one of the more impressive things I've seen from a film in quite some time. I truly have no idea how they did it. It looked seamless.

I agree, the de-aging effect was perfection. The only thing that was a bit 'off', was the background. It felt like a green screen from Episode I or something, but it was probably the 3D effect, I don't know.

Will you go see the 2D version for a comparison?

I think this movie had the strongest language out of all MCU films

I don't agree that there's any such thing as "strong" language, but I'll be surprised if I hear many "bad" words.

So Falcon:

Same screentime as in Age of Ultron?

There was one word said by T.I. (one of my favorite rappers, I wish he had more to do) that surprised me since I expected this to be a very "family friendly" movie.

I would say it's comparable, maybe even a little bit more than in AoU. But I'd have to see it again to know for sure.

There's a lot of swearing. In fact a few trailer lines add swears in film

What line was that?

I have an interesting theory regarding Martin Donovan's character Mitchell Carson and Howard Stark:

So, we know that Carson was working with Stark in SHIELD in 1989, and that later in the film he's shown with HYDRA. Given what we learned in TWS, it's highly likely that he was always a HYDRA agent embedded in SHIELD, and additionally may have had a role in Howard's assassination. He did seem a bit annoyed with Howard's reaction after Pym hit him.

What line was that?

When he called Lang a certain word that starts with a p and ends with a y. I know that isn't a horrible word in that context, but I was a little surprised to hear it.

I saw the film in 2D and the deaging was flawless.

Well I originally saw the early screening in 2D but I just got back from my second viewing and this time I saw it in 3D. I can honestly say if 3D doesn't give you headaches to go see it in 3D. Some really amazing scenes where that tech is put to great use. The film was even better the second time around as well. Hoping to get one more viewing in with some other friends this weekend but if that doesn't happen it will def be next weekend then

3D tends to give me a headache only when it's a very noisy film. I mean audibly. Is it very noisy? Like Age of Ultron noisy?

We can always blame that on
Wright.
Although Rudd is a big potty mouth in all his movies so cursing was probably written in by him & Reed.

I don't think it particularly because of noisy films. It probably has to do with the format and how your brain handles it.

I have only experienced headache when I watched Hobbit films in IMAX 3D.

Not true for me. I'm fine with IMAX 3D at a reasonable noise level, but once cities start rising into the sky, my head starts pounding.

Tony Stark used the same word to a child in IM3. It doesn't bother me but it's not the first time it's been used in the MCU and I would still say this is family friendly.

True, I forgot about that.
I definitely think it's a family friendly film, but to hear it in one of the opening scenes caught me off guard.

I have to admit I laughed out loud at that. I know, I'm a bad person...

They used the S word multiple times too.

Worst case scenario Ant-Man/Wasp questions.

If Ant-Man/Wasp took off their suit's while shrunk would they simply grow back to normal or suffer a horrible death?

He used it in a thinly-disguised cat metaphor, which I guess is how they managed to sneak it in, I guess. Reminds me of a similar running gag in Arrested Development.

Think movie went out of its way to tell you they'd die.

Which doesn't surprise me because I think Tony, Rocket and Quill used it as well in their films. You know it doesn't get used in CA's films because he doesn't like cursing.

I'm in the theatre and about to see Ant-Man soon. Very excited!
