I am curious. Ward has had 4 fights since 2012, all cans, but he get the benefit of the doubt, when he can't even get these guys out of there. Brook is probably a proper 154 guy, and he is very skilled. GGG got him out of there, and in less then half a fight. But people who want to put Ward #1 at P4P ignore who he fights and how he beats them.

Well because he's beaten better competition before his layoff, and he's about to challenge Kovalev on top of that, not to mention he's been on people's radar since the Olympics.

And just for myself, I've seen far too many punchers who rise to fame and as soon as they get in with someone they can't knockout or easily touch, they flame out. I'm simply being cautious before proclaiming GGG as someone great, until I see him against a great opponent. Regardless of how you feel about Ward, after the Kovalev fight, we'll all know for sure what he's made of. And we'll still know none of that about GGG...

GGG is all hype. He's this generation of Tyson. Knocking out bums until he gets in with a pure boxer and then he gets exposed. GGG performed exactly like I thought he would against Brook. There's nothing Brook could have done to keep him off of him but he did wobble GGG once or twice, whether people want to admit it or not. Jones and Lampley even said it on the telecast but yet people would say he wants to get hit to make the fight entertaining. BS!

I tend to agree, although I believe if Tyson had the same, original support system around him once he got the title, he would've continued to be a monster. I also think he's very underrated in the chin department, it's not like guys were catching him with one shot and he was done, he endured tons of punishment in most of his losses and some of his wins, especially Razor Ruddock.

Even the Douglas fight, which is a very underrated fight itself, he withstood some hellacious fire before finally getting dropped for good. Same thing with those Lennox uppercuts he ate until he decided it was a lost cause & Holyfield teeing away on a stationary target. I feel if you're a Heavyweight, and nobody ever knocks you out cold, you have a pretty good chin. We still don't know how GGG will react when someone really rocks him. Until I see that, along with him having to deal with more technically sound competition, the guy's just a good fighter to me, and nothing more.

As far as posting, just life in general man. Nothing bad, per se, but just busy. I still see the injustice happening around here from time to time, and I'll continue to try to stomp it out when it gets too ridiculous

If you think Tyson was all hype, you either haven't seen him in his prime or just don't know what you are talking about. In terms of a straight up fight, Tyson is probably the greatest of all time. Not Ali, not Frazier, not Foreman, not anyone else. He was that good at his best. His footwork and movement on the inside were unparalleled. His punched with the speed of a middleweight, and the strength of a heavyweight. Sadly few people could reach him, and once they were out of his life, his life and career went downhill fast.

GGG fought stupid against Brook. He was trying to get him out early, and was going wild. As soon as he settled down, he broke Brook. It is funny how you ignore the fact that Brook was beaten up so badly in 5 rounds his corner called for the bell. It took all Brook had to make it those 5 rounds. If technical wizardry is the key to beating GGG on its own, why did still GGG win? Your argument is so clearly flawed because for GGG to be exposed, he needed to actually you know lose, or at least go the distance. Instead he took a very good boxer out in less then 5 rounds.

And size is clearly not an answer here. A very good little man, will be a hyped job bigger guy. If GGG was all hype, he wouldn't have been able to beat Brook, who is a very good boxer. But he did, soundly.

Also, if your idea of "exposure" is a bad night in the ring that you win, does that mean that Castillo exposed Mayweather? Did Del Hoya? How about Shane Mosley when he made Floyd do the fish dance?

Last time I'm responding to you about GGG because we agree to disagree. But once Tyson got in the ring with a boxer he was exposed which proves the old saying that a pure boxer would beat a brawler/puncher most of the time. Was some of that due to his manager dying when he fell apart? We don't know for sure but I stand by what I said. As far as GGG, his own camp knows he has a kryptonite against certain styles which is why they won't put him in with them. For all this "I will fight anyone from 154-168 talk" there have been numerous fighters calling him out but there seems to always be the answer of not enough money to make the fight work. Ward, Lara, Andrade, and even Eubanks have called him out. His camp has only negotiated with Ward and Eubanks but some kind of way the money wasn't right. Also concerning Eubanks, they were in the middle of negotiations so how could they have got the money and contract together so quickly with a guy two weight classes smaller than him? For all the talk of Canelo being a coward but he at least has some big names on his resume that were his size, legends even. To this date, GGG's biggest name on his resume was a freakin WW. But I already know where this is going to go no matter what: they all called GGG out but were afraid to sign the contract which I don't believe for a second. One time maybe, two times possible but three times is a habit.

His two epics and wins against Alexis Arguello in the 80's were the highlights of a great career with only one defeat.
