It's in doubt now.Anthony Joshua and Klitschko have agreed to fight.
It's in doubt now.
Apparently some confusion over which belts will be on the line. Still expected to go ahead but next 48hrs of negotiations are crucial.Do you know why? Just read today that it was on with an announcement possible soon.
Oh right, thanks for that. Really hope it happens.Apparently some confusion over which belts will be on the line. Still expected to go ahead but next 48hrs of negotiations are crucial.

Anthony Joshua will not fight Wladimir Klitschko in 2016 but spring bout expected
Was wondering if you had seen this? Apparently it's a Klitschko injury now? All very bizarre.
Can't wait for the weekend Super fight finally to happen. Kovalev v Ward.
Man, I'm excited! I just want a good fight and I believe we'll get it, although I caution people not that familiar with Ward that this could be ugly.
I think it has to be for him to win, he has to smother and neutralize the power. I enjoy that type of thing, so I'll be on the edge of my seat, but I'm sure if he wins that's all anyone will want to talk about...
I think Ward wins by UD too. But if Kovalev catches him it's "Goodnight Oakland".
Call me crazy but I think Ward is going to win this one a lot more easily than people think. Hope I'm wrong but we will see.
I was listening to the HBO podcast, and they brought up the jab. One thing they pointed out is if one of the two really get their jab going, they would probably be winning. Though I guess if Ward is fighting successfully on the inside, that is less of a factor, still it is a really good point.I think one of the biggest factors in this fight will be Kovalev's jab. If he can get his jab working the way he wants, he significantly increases his chances of winning. Chilemba took away Sergey's jab, and it severely limited his offense; If Ward does that, I think Kova would be reduced to having only a puncher's chance.
Distance is going to be critical for both fighters. We know Ward is great with controlling range, but the more Kovalev is able to keep Andre on the end of his punches the more dangerous it becomes.
Honestly, I don't think I would be surprised by any outcome of this fight. This is a great match-up that has been horribly promoted. This fight could determine the P4P best fighter in the world, and I've seen virtually nothing about it in the mainstream media.

The difference to me is that Sergey needs his jab to work more than Ward does his. I think Ward could still scratch out a decision if his jab isn't working well, but if Sergey's doesn't work well, he just has to hope he can clip Ward with a big shot.I was listening to the HBO podcast, and they brought up the jab. Good point, but that shouldn't bail out those whose job title is "promoter." You shouldn't have to rely on your fighter being a character to get him into the public eye. Ward has been in discussion for best fighter in the world for years, and has had many high profile fights. Kovalev is, imo, the hardest P4P puncher in boxing, with a mean streak that the casuals should eat up.True, although neither guy is all that concerned with selling themselves either. This is the exact reason I hate seeing fans get upset over fighters that aren't humble. You have two guys who aren't flashy, who just go about the business of boxing and it doesn't move the needle. Being a character makes the promotion easy...
