I hope James isn't pulling a Millar with AICN and IESB. :=/ Ya know wanting to be involved with the film, so letting rumors fly for some buzz.
What has he directed (JMcT?)? And thanks.

Ninja Assassin isn't based on any video game.also that upcoming ninja video game adaption right?
Most notably he was first assistant director on the Matrix movies. He also was first assistant director on Star Wars: Episode II.
As for him being the main director, just V for Vendetta afaik
Hm, this is very interesting. I loved V for Vendetta, and Ninja Assassin looks to be a blast. Wachowski's sitting back in the producer's chair allows them some pull, but not enough to conquer the direction of the movie. Visuals and spectacle alone, this team is top-notch.
One thing I'm not very sure of is the writing. That could very well be a hit/miss.
DC has comic writers writing the stories that all of their movies will be based on now. I believe I heard that Grant Morrison would be the one to write a Superman film, but I'm not sure how concrete that is. After Morrison is done, then it would go to an "established screenwriter" to be turned into a script. This is DC's plan for all of their films now, and is similar to how Superman TM was done, with Puzo writing the story and the Newmans & Tom Mankewiecz writing the screenplay. What really interest me is: Who will write the script?
If Wachowski Brother are going to be producer, they will probably be very interested in writing the script, like they did with V for Vendetta.
I'm believing nothing at this point. i've been burnt too many times in the past by websites running with rumors. Give me something concrete then i'll get excited.I hope James isn't pulling a Millar with AICN and IESB. :=/ Ya know wanting to be involved with the film, so letting rumors fly for some buzz.

Robert Sanchez:
IF there is any doubt about the legitimacy of IESB claims comparitively, I think you can look at the record of Steve at Savesuperman.com who would have lost any contact he had, after day one of his site and comments alienating Superman fans.
What will people say when latinoreview, hollywood reporter, and variety confirm this info within the next week?
