IDK, I always thought the Guilds were a little archaic to bring into the X-Men movie-verse. Plus I'd much rather see Gambit with the X-Men than running around with the Thieves Guild.

I would love him to be with the X Men too, but I love the Southern Gothic feel of the Thieves Guild-it would bring something a bit original to the screen.

In that case, I'm all for it! These days, particularly in X Men comics, darker=angsty, and I've had enough of angsty, mopey Gambit in Legacy.

Here we go. I just love how when Daken speaks, it's all suggestive without him outright flirting. He always means more than what he actually says. I like how their hands almost touch in the first page, it's so creepy.

I just don't like him because he comes off as a spoiled brat whos mad at his daddy for no reason

he's a person I would hate in real life, and I don't wanna read stories about someone like that, so the fact they gave him Wolverine's book really pissed me off

plus, in general, I hate the idea of superhero "families" like the bat-fam, the spider-fam, and now the hulk and wolverine families.

The moment a lot of us have waiting for! Gambit tells Rogue to ***** off! I really didn't think Carey would give him the balls to do so, but he did. Joy! Hopefully Squeeks can post the page up for those who haven't seen it.

But I felt the whole thing was a real character assasination of Rogue. She came across as a indecisive, needy, self absorbed b*tch, and I hope Rogue fans go on a rampage over this. The icing of the cake was that she took off with Magneto. I mean, really? A sociopathic, geriatric mutant supremisist over a handsome, young, caring, charming teamate who has stuck by her through thick and thin? She really comes off bad here, and I can't imagine a Claremont Rogue, the one I know and love, behaving like this at all!

Well, Remy, hope you kept Tiger Tyger's number!

It was possibly the best day in my comics life in the last decade.

I was stunned too. Part of me is still convinced that Carey wrote it from Gambit's perspective simply to try to cover for all the Rogue love the X-Books have been doused with since he came onto the staff. Gotta trade off somewhere?

Tyger Tiger. A character that, before this, had only really been featured in some of Wolverine's Asian adventures (I honestly don't get why he had/has so many of those).

So, naturally, she turns up in a story containing Wolverine's son and clone.

They finally broke up the Gambit/Rogue pairing that had so clearly defined both characters for two decades - lets not rush Gambit back into another pairing. Let him be... Gambit. The Gambit that just plays off scene like that with little surprise or shock.

Totally agree! He needs to make up for lost time, not to mention have a few rebound experiences Just please, Carey, not Frenzy! Keep him the way Liu has him for awhile.

Speaking of which, just saw the preview for the new issue of X-23. I found it heart breaking.
