The Ogre sounds like he should provide a good threat for Gordon, I wonder if he'll be a multi-ep villain.

The electrocutioner arc was some of the best material on the show and if the ogre is treated with as much care then I can begin to get behind the show again. The further away they get from the Batman villains and easter eggs the better. Focus on Gordon and his mission to turn the city around, don't concern yourself with namedropping as often as possible.

and yea he is confirmed for multiple episodes :)

So yesterday was a pretty exciting day… I got to witness #thewaddle in person for the first time. @robinlordtaylor @Gotham #nospoilers
:awesome:

I really like the way they write Gordon, he's my favourite character on this show, which i'm pretty happy about since the straight man is usually the most boring

Gordon is starting to come around. At the beginning I thought he was a little boring and his cause was a little unrealistic considering how bad the city was. But with recent events things are turning around.

I'm so excited! I was just thinking today about how great it would be for Bruce and Oswald to meet face-to-face.

Tonight.

God, they better never bring Barbara back. Leslie has been so awesome, and some fresh air...

At the very worst, have Jimmy Jr. show up in like season 8 ha.

Tonight's episode was great, this whole origin for the fear toxin and the Scarecrow has been really good and the visuals tonight that young Crane saw were superbly done.

The little scene between The Penguin and The Riddler was well played and I'm wondering if we will see 'Oswald's' eventually become The Iceberg Lounge!

Fish's new storyline is out of left field, the prison she is in would be a perfect place for her to meet Bane as the origin of the Venom formula has already been put in place. With him and his mercs she could return to Gotham to fight Falcone for power.

I'm starting to think this series would benefit from bringing in a co-pilot for Heller. The managing of the storylines is just... off. Unfocused. Beyond that, I'm just liking the show when I really should be loving it. Do what Fringe did. They had a solo showrunner for the first season, and then added another starting with the second, and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th seasons ended up being the best of the series. S***, for that matter, they should just add one of the Fringe showrunners. :o

Sup with that banana?

It's a coat hanger. :o

I'm inclined to agree, but I'd like to know at what point season 2 was guaranteed in terms of when these episodes were being shot.

On one hand I think they've been writing-for-ratings in a scattershot way that leaves them open for criticism, on the other hand there's so much great stuff in this goulash that is built for the long haul.

I really wish they'd stay away from Joker for a long time...

I'm almost certain this next episode won't actually include the soon-to-be Joker. The promo literally says "This next villain is no joke."

Looking at that pic of Barbara and Selina, anyone else feels like the actress that plays Barbara looks like she could also pass off as the older version of this show's Selina?

Only if Selina became wooden. :o

edward meeting oswald was awesome, and so was penguin's disappointment after Jim refused to come to Oswald's.

It's a little disconcerting that the ratings have slipped below a 2.0 in the demos.

I just think the overall storyline isn't captivating enough for the general audience and they are starting to drift away.
