It would be good if the time jump is in season 3 to Bruce's first year in high school. That's if season 2 has Bruce's encounter with bats and how he struggles with the fear of them.

Am I mistaken or is there a shot of Fish making out with Jim in that trailer? I guess it might be her Russian lover.

Lee/James is really a winning combination, because there is a dynamic between the two of them, something that, along chemistry, was lacking with Barbara. This joker kid is amazing. Man, whas he creepy in this interrogation scene....

They should just make it that her middle name is Barbara and hey presto! :D
Is The Joker kid slated to appear again? I want to see more of what he can do with the role.

I think the Joker kid might be in the next episode "Red Hood" but not sure if or how he'll be tied to that plot. Most likely he's locked up in Arkham Asylum since I think he's a minor. (under 18 and not yet an adult)

I just realized watching Viking Season 3 premier that Bullock is in it !

It would be great he was in the next ep and they just had a scene where eh crosses paths with The Red Hood, perhaps foreshadowing a collaboration in season 2.

I agree. But if Jerome's in Arkham, how would that go about?

If Gordan catches the Red Hood Gang, they'll be locked up in jail or prison, and NOT Arkham Asylum. But who knows? I'm just speculating like everyone else. :)

Good point, I guess they could cross paths at the courthouse when on trial or sentencing or something, but that would be further down the line than this upcoming ep.

Thats a pretty big time jump considering Batman is suppose to show up 6-7 years from now lol

Unless they want a very young batman, I don't think Bruce will become Batman until he's at least 21, which will take about 8-9 years given Bruce's current age.

I just hope that this show doesn't make the same mistake that Smallville did when it comes to payoffs because a lot of people were pretty pissed off that we got so "little" when it came to seeing Welling in the suit.

Batman isn't supposed to show up at all. That's the biggest disappointment to me. All of this teasing with literally no intention of giving us Bats. Why put such an emphasis on his villains if you're not gonna show them in their prime or going up against the only guy that can stop them?

It's just throwing names at fans in hopes they will keep watching. Hopefully they come around on not featuring him, cuz its the only thing that can save the series in my eyes.

Ep.16 Review (The Blind Fortune Teller)

Overall I like the show, occasionally they do throw in a cheesy line of two and some of the acting isn't very good. Not sure if it's the writers or the actor, but I find Zsasz to just be corny and over the top.

LOVE Zsasz haha. He's just so creepy. I am glad he isn't a major part of the show though. Too much of him would spoil the cheese. Most of this show doesn't work. Tonight had some great parts (Bruce, Red Hood) but the sheer amount of fluff weighs everything else down (Fish, Barbara, Penguin now).

Fish plucking her eye out was nasty and unexpected, I'll give her that.

Here is my full review of the episode for all those interested :D

I didn't watch yet cause I'm at work, it's on my DVR for when I get home. What was Barbara doing in tonight's eoisode?

This was one of better episode this seasons. The red hood was what you want to cloud the mystery of the joker. Fish is a straight up gangster defiant in all things. I have never really been a fan of hers but she might of won me over. BTW did anyone get a little creeped out by Barbara's speech about beauty?

What happened with Barbara tonight. Just more pointless ****? Haha did she at least look good

The best part about that speech was when Selina put Barbara in her place "what good has it done you?" or something to that affect. :funny:

I feel like they are still trying to throw out a lot of red herrings with The Joker. When the first bank robbery happened the guy who had the red hood one was laughing maniacally in one scene. Later Gordon and Bullock were watching the surveillance tape at the bank and the woman who worked at the bank seemed to be keen on the guys antics.

There was also a scene as Penguins nightclub where there is a comedian performing and he get booed.

The ep was a mixed bag that surprised me. At first I wasn't keen on the storyline with Alfred's old military buddy but it actually panned out being the best part, especially with the twist at the end

The Red Hood stuff was tonally awkward, I mean at first it felt like the crew were a low fi punk rock 70's outfit that gelled weirdly with Gordon and Bullock watching surveillance footage, then it all got a bit comical in the way it was handled. I get the theme they were going for of the mask giving power in terms of confidence, but it was just a little off in execution, plus I doubt the GCPD would leave the hood at the crime scene to be picked up by someone. :funny:

The stuff with Fish was bonkers, I am surprised they got that scene with her gouging her eye out past the censors. :shock They are building up to the Dollmaker really well and he's perfectly cast.

They crammed a lot into this weeks ep with the Barbara/Selina scenes as well.

It was like she suddenly turned into one of those women you see in movies teaching young female spies how to be honey traps and use their looks as a weapon, which was kinda out of the blue, I initially thought they were setting things up for Barbara to help Selina create her socialite image that she'll adopt later in life.

IMO, not really, considering how quickly all the Red Hoods were killed off. You generally don't write up a red herring and reveal it to be a hoax so quickly.
And I don't think the comic was a Jokeroid (my name for the Joker red herrings) he didn't act "Jokerish" in any way and they already did a stand up comic that some suspect was a Jokeroid.

They're filming by my office Thursday. Hopefully I can spot a few people.

True, it did happen very quickly. I'm thinking if he does show up at some point it will probably be during sweeps, or a season finale. Though the question is will he be young like Bruce, Selina, and Ivy, or will the me older like Nygma? To have him in all his Joker madness he would would have to be an adult, but that would also make him much older than Bruce.

Another knock on last episode, no wonderful Leslie.

favorite part of last episode was the Bruce/Alfred/Reginald Payne stuff.

The Bruce/Alfred dynamic has never been better, this show adds so much to their relationship

Yeah finally saw it last night after I got home from work. It felt really awkward her interaction with Selina. The first instance out on the balcony it felt like she was creepily hitting on Selina :funny:

Loved the Bruce Alfred and Reggie stuff. And totally agree everything we've seen between Alfred and Bruce has been great.
