Ya if you read the whole article which is a review of the last episode it makes more sense. They really point out how crazy this first season is getting. Hopefully they are able to find tune it and really hit their stride next season since they should know it will be 22 or 23 episodes and not surprise them

Do anyone think the Wayne murder will be resolve? It would require some strong evidence to take down entire Wayne Enterprise Board....

that article nails it. i enjoyed some mild camp, in the beginning, but this has gotten stupid. the show is tripping all over itself. here are my thoughts:

1. Remove the current Barbara Gordon. Character and actress will ruin the show if she gets more airtime in the inevitable reconciliation with Jim.

2. Kill Fish Mooney. A matter of fact, have The Penguin kill Fish so he can get back some of his bite, and establish him as a serious crime boss.

3. I like the Gordon storyline of cleaning up the department. Continue with that, let him build up his respect. The show needs a big main mob/villain storyline, much like Arrow had with Deathstroke. Pit Gordon against a force that will test him like no other. That in addition to his cleaning house at the GCPD should be THE main story.

4. Complete the Riddler storyline and banish him for future development down the road next season. I agree, this one has gone on long enough.

5. Enough of the Selina / Ivy hang sessions. I'm fine with Selina helping Bruce. Stick with that. No more Ivy for awhile. (i understand she has really just been background noise, but it's just silly)

6. Overall, I want more coming of age Bruce, the virgin detective. I want the rise of Jim Gordon. I want dark, ruthless mob buildup, with The Penguin back to being bold, smart, and coming out on top with his own piece of Gotham.

whew. i feel better.

Jada Pinkett Smith Leaving Gotham

The actress is leaving Gotham and her role as Falcone crime family lieutenant Fish Mooney at the end of the season.

“We’re done, I did my year and I had a good time,” she tells Extra, adding that Fish will go out with a bang. “The show is gonna [have] an awesome finale.”

“I’ve always been a comic book fan so it was definitely a dream to be able to participate in an origin story of Batman with an original character,” marveled the actress. “Who would of thought in a million years that I would have the opportunity to do that?”

No! She was such a good, entertaining character.

Fish has been stale lately. The whole underground body part slaves thing was quite ridiculous, and she overacted a lot. I think it's good news, hopefully Bruce and Gordon will receive more emphasis now.

I like JPS and I think there was ALOT of potential with this character. Sadly, the writers never gave her anything overly interesting do to. She's simply been biding time these past few episodes until Penguin or Falcone does her in.

I'll miss her, but hopefully she gets to go out with a bang.

Do you think they will re-cast Fish? or do you think they will just go ahead and kill her off?

I hope they kill her off in a spectacular fashion.

Falcone or Penguin finally kill her or perhaps a brainwashed Butch does it.

She did say that it's going to have an awesome finale. So I guess Fish dies at the end of season 1.

Anyone else a little miffed that they've revealed this rather than leaving it for the episode itself to reveal?

I would be, but I seem to recall this more or less being spoiled as soon as Jada was cast. She said she would be working on the show for one year, which seemed oddly specific, and add on to that the Fish/Penguin thing, and I don't think anyone really expected her to be long for the series.

I'm not too upset. I enjoyed Fish and her over-the-topness to start with, but her storyline right now just seems to take away from better stuff going on. Take her, Barbara and Old Man Falcone off the board and I think they might have something here.

This is more or less how I feel.

I don't know so much that I'll miss her, since they seem to have mismanaged her character the most of all. But JPS was good. And when they actually gave her some decent material to work with,(which frankly wasn't all that often) she was top notch.

We pretty much knew she wouldn't be here for the long haul,so it's hardly shocking. But yeah, lets hope she'll get a fitting end.

Wish he wasn't showing up until Season 2, but I'm guessing he plays a role and helps Bruce with his Wayne Enterprises troubles.

Chris Chalk cast as Lucius Fox

Appearing episode 21 with an option to return for S2. It'll be great to see a friendly face at Wayne Enterprises.

Gotham tries to cram too much. Season 1 is not finished and it feels like most characters that could play a role throughout the show's tenure are being introduced too soon. In the long run it might not matter, but I would like things to be spread out. That said, this casting is fine.

His first appearance is an episode before the season ends. I don't think him appearing then is the end of the world. I mean, depending on how much we actually see of him, it could be seen as a tease for a bigger role in S2.

Pretty much, I see it more of a tease for the 2nd season and I'm glad to see Lucius finally showing up. I hope the next season will give the writers more time with the outline and plot since season 1 was expanded unexpectedly.

Fish grew on me over the course of the season and I like her current arc with Dollmacher, but I can see the logic in her being killed off as Penguin continues his rise as Falcone and Maroni aren't getting the chop.

I'd kind of like to see them knock off Falcone, reveal that he's essentially this series' version of Vincent Falcone, and then have Oswald contend with Carmine Jr. and Carla in season 2.

She was only signed for 1 season. It's not like she's leaving because she's upset or anything. Her contract is up.

Which would suggest that Fish Mooney was/is only going to be a one-season character.

I kinda wish this means they will introduce new original characters for the next season that last more than one episode.
