I don’t think David can pull it off convincingly, he can probably make a 2-year time jump maximum, but if it’s just 2-year I don’t think it’s much different from the 3-month jump we usually get.

Deadline's reporting the season will entail Bruce's transformation into Batman, so we're getting a loose adaptation of Batman: Year One, it seems.

There's still a magical number. That's why we see a lot of shows make it to 4th seasons for no reason. It'll make the network and everyone more money in the long run.

Them going into this knowing that it’s gonna be the final season.
It gives them an opportunity to wrap things up neatly and probably give us a really cool ending.

The actual end/final scene I can't see being anything other than Mazouz being Batman or a much closer version towards that, but I'm most looking forward to seeing how everyone else's stories are resolved. There are so many characters here for whose endings I want to see.

When young Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, I hope his costume resembles the ones from either Detective #27 or Year One. I can see him be a sleeker Batman than Ben Affleck's.

Which is why I would go with a batman beyond type of suit. Might as well go futuristic.
