If Bruce manages to turn one of the gangs to his side during the season then I'm betting it will be the Mutants. In The Dark Knight Returns some of the members of the gang became the Sons of Batman after he defeated the Mutant leader and the mutants are a gang that is mainly made up of teenagers around Bruce's age.

Plus it looks like Gotham Set Designer is introducing/Re-introducing the BatCave (if you count Thomas Wayne's Lair from season 1 and season 2)

Nah, shorter series (or 'season' if you prefer) are always better. It means a tighter focus, and less padding.

Nothing's obvious with villains. They are the one type of character you can guarantee will come back from the dead.

I always found it funny that they introduced Gordon as having just gotten out of the army, and somehow never found an opportunity to do anything with that backstory. Guess it's better late than never.
