Not surprised that the Hulk looks amazing from what little we've seen of him, I mean these are the same people that brought Davy Jones to life.

Yeah, they probably thought "Wait, you just want a giant green man? No tentacles? No critters crawling in and out of his orifices? Shoot. I thought this was supposed to be work."

The Hulk looks very promising, I'm just not too fond of the shade of green they used for him. It's probably just the lighting in that scene, though.

Hey, this is old as hell, but who is this in the background? It's been driving me nuts.

Guy looks like some weird...Sam Elliot/Jeff Bridges hybrid. I really can't make heads or tails of him.

It's Ruffalo dude.

Thats Ruffalol man.

That's who I immediately thought it was since that's the logical assumption. Man did the artist butcher him, though. That looks nothing like him. I really thought "What does a clean shaven Sam Elliot have to do with any of this? His Hulk isn't even a part of this." It'd go between that and "It could be Jeff Bridges looking at Iron Man. But he has hair...and it's all on top of his head this time."

Ah well. Great art but man did he miss the mark on this poster apparently (comparing Hulk to what we saw in the trailer as well).

I just hope this INCREDIBLE-looking Hulk is matched by a great characterization of The Hulk himself.

Still can't believe on how awesome the effects are for the Hulk at this stage, I mean it looks more realistic imho than A LOT of the finished shots for the Hulk in the previous two films.

Indeed; aside from the film creating a awesome visual for the Hulk's appearance, I really hope that they display him more of a hero than anti hero or such from past films.

I want to see the Hulk have a mind of his own and willingly choose to help out as well.

I'm already pleased to see that Banner is included in a lot of the group shots in the trailer; since one of the things that I'm looking forward to as well is seeing the group dynamics between Bruce/Hulk and the rest of the avengers.

And I cannot mention how many times I'm glad that he's not being portrayed as the villain that he was in the Ultimates series.

Completely agree with you.Plus,a little Hulk vs Thor would be greatly appreciated if added into the mix :).

It was cool of Marvel to use the new Hulk as the money shot.

Who's doing the work on him ILM or Weta? Has any website confirmed which VFX house is working on the green guy?

I can't speak for everyone here, but I'm actually happy about this. The poster isn't bad, but not exactly what I was hoping for. The trailer on the other hand....wow.

Yeah, I was watching the whole trailer thinking: "Are they going to show Hulk? Where's Hulk? And as it seemed to be winding down, I was giving up hope that we'd see him . . . and then they made up for it with those last few seconds.

Hulk looks amazing. Not only in quality better than TIH, but he also resembles the TIH Hulk.

Yeah, I have to say he looks pretty realistic. Hopefully they keep his size around the 7-8 feet range, and give him a little dialogue.

In reference to his voice, should he have Ruffalo's or be something deeper and more menacing? I remember the "Puny human" line in the first Hulk movie. It sent chills down my spine and it was probably the only thing they got right in that flick.

You're kidding right? Given that neither SE or JB have ever been associated with the movie, and that Ruffalo is Banner is Hulk....(?)......I'm sorry but I am really struggling......

Yeah. I don't know if they've got the time/inclination to fully develop that here though. :csad: Hopefully his actions in this film are spectacular & meaningful enough that Hulk's profile gets a big enough boost that audiences want to see another Hulk solo film. There we should have time to get the ultimate version of Hulk. (edit that's ultimate, not Ultimates! :cmad:)

Agreed x10.

^ TBH they actually may be able to. This film primarily is about the characters becoming The Avengers. I feel this movie is going to have a lot of character developement far beyond what we saw in their individual films. You saw Thor actually attacking Cap now who knows if this is training or what but I have a feeling the developement of Hulk trying to "fit in" is going to play a big role in the beginning of the film.

We dont (at least I dont) even know if the main villian is going to be vanquished at the end of the film and if thats the case they have a lot of room for much needed character dev between Cap Thor IM Hulk.

I really hope they just cut and paste the way A:EMH has done it, they portrayed it in my eyes....perfectly.
