When I think about the Incredible Hulk film, I always think of two shots before anything else:

The look and body type for the first one. I LOVE how Hulk looks in that shot. Tough and bulky, but still lean 'n mean. And his hair is awesome.
Then the second shot for scale. That seems totally right. Bigger than any man, but not so huge he becomes ridiculous.

I'm hoping they'll stay pretty close to this. This is my definitive look for Hulk so far.

It's sounding like he's going to be more Kirby-esque this time around, more blocky as opposed to lean and v tapered as he was in the last movie, and a little more ape-ish build wise.

I didn't really like him being that lean. Hulk should be bulky, not look like an athlete. And his skin looked really thin too.

This is still my definitive look for Hulk, unlike most people I've never been a fan of Kirby's "neanderthal" looking Hulk.

Judging from the Comicon figure, it looks like it will be a blend of Classic Kirby, and the Hulk from the last movie. He looks to be around 8 feet tall, with a square torso with a thicker build, and smoother skin than the last time.

To me, Hulk having this physique is entirely reminiscent of The Professor Hulk persona(despite having Savage Hulk's hair-do and fashion sense and more monstrous face). The professor is indeed just a huge green bodybuilder looking fella. But this is supposed to be Savage Hulk and there this doesn't quite fit. I was still much more pleased with this look than AngHulk's for the most part but that doesn't mean I had no issues with it.

From what I've heard, it sounds like what we'll be getting in TA will be a big improvement and much more faithful adaptation. One can only hope that they put as much effort into getting his character right(something that's been sorely lacking in ALL live action Hulk incarnations)

The most important thing for me is whether he has a personality (assuming he has the strength and the general look of the Hulk) which means he can interact verbally with others.

Well I'd say that we're somewhat in the safe zone with that since they have Banner referring Hulk as an entirely different person from who he is; which is new I think in regards to past film portrayals of the character.

Plus, the Hulk would need to be able to communicate with others imho in order to even work on a team period.

In my opinion, that is a very very VERY good thing.

Don't like the hairstyle on that figure. It's reminsicent of Ang Lee's Hulk with the short hairstyle. I prefer his hairstyle becomes wild and ruffled. Here it looks like it's almost the same as Ruffalo's, which is how Ang Lee's Hulk was: a Bana hairstyle.

Prior to TIH, I used to love Hulk with short hair but now the longer/messier style is my favarite hairstyle for Hulk.

As long as he's big, mean, and green, I'm good. lol. I've liked both hulks so far and the new one looks great too

I just hope we get to hear the Hulk communicate with the others. Something along the lines of what Earth's Mightiest Heros is doing with the Hulk.

I'm watching that now, and I'm surprised at how well I like it. Hulk is a great character in the group. He fits in well, and I love how Cap put it.

Captain America: In my day we had a name for people like you.
Hulk: Yeah? What's that?
Captain America: Hero. I've been watching you Hulk. No matter how scared people are of you, no matter how you're hounded, you always do the right thing. And that makes you a hero in my book.

I loved the show from the start, but it was that moment that I realized I truly loved the show. Because that moment showed that they understood the characters and their dynamics.

Ruffalo said in New York, that Hulk is getting better at communicating with the team, and has to learn to be a team player. At this point, I think banner has much more control over his Hulk side than he used to, which is cool. It means that we will see a much more dynamic Hulk.

I think we all suspect Banner to have a better grasp on the Hulk...given the suggestion at the end of TIH,

For sure, I always liked than Banner learned to control the Hulk through meditation in the comics/TIH.

I've come to realize now that hulk is my 3rd favorite superhero. cap, thor, hulk, then spidey

Going by what Ruffalo has said, perhaps Hulk, as in, Hulk himself, will have an actual character arc. I imagine at the start of the film he is an uncontrollable monster. But as the film progresses and he sees the threat posed to the "puny humans" he realises he has to be a team player and help out mankind.

Well i do like the humor in the fact that in the film; despite having saved Iron Man from falling to his death, he still drops him on the ground in a less than comfortable way.lol

That's why I'm happy that Whedon is directing this, he knows how to insert humor and make it work. I'm looking forward to Stark teasing Banner and trying to get him to Hulk out, as well as the Hulk having a few funny moments.

Heck, I'm interested in seeing on how the Hulk himself interacts and responds to Banner.

From what the EW article said; Bruce actually finds it funny himself that Stark is always trying to push and see the transformation, despite everyone else being so edgy and nervous about that.

Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a scene where the Hulk gets a chance to wield one of the Alien weapons and gets surprised in seeing on how much impact it makes at first, only to smile from knowing from then on that he has a new toy to play with (I think something like this was shown in EMH when the Hulk took the axe of..what's that guy's name that hangs around with the Enchantress?)
